jessie1027 says "Not the great show it used to be." about Law and Order

I used to be a HUGE L&O fan. I loved the characters and the show's treatment of current headlines. The plots were always interesting to me with great twists and turns. Now they're replacing characters long-time characters and not always wisely. I was glad to finally see Detective Green get a great partner in Detective Lupo; I think Jeremy Sisto is great in this role, but now Jesse Martin is leaving the show and I have my doubts that they'll replace him with an equally strong actor and/or character. The actors they replaced Jack McCoy with (as ADA - of course now he's DA) and his current assistant are less than impressive. I doubt I'll be watching this show much longer. They just don't seem to be putting the same energy into it as they used to. The same seems to be true of the L&O spinoffs as well. I think these shows have just run their course. —...

jessie1027 says "This washer & dryer has everything you need with great features." about Maytag Neptune Washer

I can't think of anything that I don't like about the Maytag Neptune (I have both the washer and dryer.) We have had this set since our house was completed in 2001. The only problem we have ever had with it was an issue with the dryer not heating properly, but it was under warranty and fixed easily in a couple of hours by a technician. We have never had a problem since with either the washer or the dryer. — Both the washer and dryer run quietly. The only time I hear the washer is during a spin cycle with a full load. The washer has several wash cycles that really allow you to use it for anything this is washable. The cycles include: Cotton/Sturdy, Delicates, Hand Wash & Wrinkle Free. I use cotton/sturdy & delicates cycles most often but I have also used hand wash on some of my washable hand knits and it worked beautifully without causing stretching, shrinkage or pilling. It also has settings for Spin Only, Rinse Only, a Quick Cycle and settings for Light, Normal or...

jessie1027 says "Lightweight and easy to use for daily cleanup." about Eureka Maxima Canister Vacuum 972B

We have two dogs and a cat and hardwood floors throughout much of our house. We also have a year old child, so cleanliness on the floor is particularly important. I'm a busy work-at-home mom, so I need something lightweight to clean up the floors very quickly and very easily every day. I'm not the most motivated person when it comes to housecleaning, so I need things that are really easy to use and allow me to get it done super fast. — My husband got this little canister vac for me and even though it wasn't what I thought I needed, it ended up being perfect. It's light, long telescoping wand allows me to get under our huge sectional sofa as well as under the dining room table easily to get up dust, dog hair, crumbs and even the odd goldfish cracker. I don't even have to move the dining room chairs because the wand swivels. It's great. It's very lightweight and the wheels roll easily so I can move quickly through each area of our great room space. I can clean the kitchen,...

jessie1027 says "I was so thrilled to discover this company and their products!" about Earth's Best Organic Baby Food

I try to buy organic when I can for myself and always for my daughter. I was so happy when I found Earth's Best. I was disappointed in organic selections from more well-known mainstream baby food companies, plus they still tasted...well, like baby food to me. My daughter is heading into the toddler years, so she's not eating baby food anymore, but I use many of the Earth's Best products. When she was eating pureed foods, I made most of her food myself, but when we went on vacation I bought Earth's Best to feed her for the week. Not only did she love it, I tasted several of the products and they tasted really good - like the same foods I would prepare myself. — As I mentioned, I still use Earth's Best products religiously and my daughter has never turned any of them down. I give her the cereal bars, the teething biscuits, the crackers, cookies and other snacks. I feel good feeding her products that are organic, free of genetically engineered ingredients and lacking in any...

jessie1027 says "Though not perfect, this is a good, solid product." about Chicco Cortina Travel System

When I was pregnant and shopping for baby gear, quality and safety were two of the top things I was looking for, especially in a product like this that my daughter would spend so much time in. Chicco has a reputation for both so their travel system was at the top of my list. — It is super easy to fold and unfold. I'm not the strongest person in the world and I have a fairly small trunk on my car, but I've never had a problem getting the stroller into or out of my car and it pops up quickly. I'm constantly running around, so that's important for me. The carrier/car seat has a five-point harness, which is a great feature, and it is very, very easy to get in and out of the base and the stroller. There's just one latch that you release at the back - so simple! — I love the Chicco color schemes because they're neutral. We had a little girl, but we plan on having another child pretty soon and we wanted to be able to use this system again even if we have a boy. Plus, I'm not...
