jennmw says "Great first digital camera" about Kodak EasyShare V603 Digital Camera

used to have an old HP820 so this is so much better. I think the image quality is great, love the in camera correction and image stabilizer. The screen is bright and big and can be seen in the daylight.

The software is easy to use and the battery life is great, I can go at least 2 weeks without charging the battery under normal picture taking conditions, not using it everyday.

I highly recommend this camera for the amateur....

jennmw says "Fantastic camera, better than my Kodaks ever were" about Canon - PowerShot SD1000 / Digital IXUS 70 Digital Camera

The past two cameras I have owned have been Kodak. I had my last Kodak for only a year and it broke and they wanted over $100 to fix it, which was crazy. So, I asked for a camera for Christmas.

I did my research and decided on this one as it has gotten great reviews from amateurs and pros alike. I wanted something as small as my Kodak so this fit the bill. I am so happy with this camera. It is much more user friendly than my Kodak as far as the menus, etc. I get pretty good indoor shots, better than I did with my Kodak.

As far as the size some say it's too small but I disagree, I wanted something that I can throw in my purse and this fit the bill. It fits good in my hand and for the features and benefits I think it is perfect.

Since I just shoot family, friends, etc I don't care about manual controls and this is a great little point and shoot. I wish it has the image stabilizer but I played around with it and it does better than my Kodak did so I have no complaints. I highly recommend this......

jennmw says "Great computer for the price!" about Toshiba Satellite P205D-S8802 Laptop

I was in search for a laptop to replace our Dell Desktop that we have had for almost 8 years. We knew we wanted one that had a number pad on it but a lot of them were either out of our price range or didn't have exactly what we wanted and had debated about buying a Dell refurbished computer but I was real iffy on doing that.

Then I came across an HP that was in my price range and thought I found the one. But, then I found an even better deal at Best Buy for even cheaper. It was on sale for $649, originally $799 and really did some research on it. I asked the computer guy at work and he told me to stay away from HP because they are cheap and will not last long and to either get a Dell or a Toshiba so I was even more inclined to get the Toshiba since a brand new Dell was too expensive for me. After telling him the specs on the Toshiba he told me to definately get the Toshiba, you won't go wrong.

It's got a 17" screen that is gorgeous, very true to life and makes everything very life like.......

jennmw says "Great car seat, but I probably won't buy again." about Britax Roundabout Car Seat

When it was time to look at a convertible car seat for our son I did a lot of research and everyone consistently rated the Britax Roundabout as fantastic in safety and comfort. My husband's grandparents were going to buy them for us so money really wasn't an issue, so we chose this one and chose the grey because it wasn't girly and figured it would hide stains well.

When we received them I was very pleased that we did not have to put it together, of course for a high end brand I would expect no less. Upon inspection I was a little disappointed in the padding. I really expected it to be very well padded for an expensive car seat but it really felt no more padding than the Graco's that you find at the stores. It had a pad that you put put around the buckle which I thought was nice so it won't rub on our son's legs.

Installing it in my 2002 Ford Escape was a breeze with the LATCH system. Although we did not know at the time you can not install both the LATCH and seat belt, very big no no.......
