jennieb says "Use it daily" about Blogger

I absoulutely LOVE using Blogger. I have never been very computer literate...however, Blogger makes blogging soooooo easy that even someone like myself can do it!

My brother had a blog on Blogger that I read all the time. I was so impressed by the set up and how he had polls and pictures on his blog also. One day we were talking about how I should start a blog about my son...and I told him that I wouldn't even know where to begin. He sent me the Blogger website and told me to try following the simple set up and if I had questions to call him and he would try to walk me through them. I got on and set up my blog with no issues. It was so easy that I now blog several times a week.

I have also learned how to follow other blogs on Blogger...and have talked several of my friends into blogging. I am able to keep up on their day to day lives and they are able to keep up on mine. Blogging made enjoyable!
...

jennieb says "Makes me Laugh" about The Ellen Degeneres Show

The Ellen Degeneres Show if buy far the best talk show out there. She brings a smile to everyone's face, daily. Ellen usually has people on the show that interest me and make me want to watch. Her dancing is hysterical and every time the music starts my nineteen month old stops whatever he is doing and comes running in the living room to dance with Ellen. The games she plays keep me laughing! I love that not only is Ellen funny, she is also kind, caring, giving and smart. These are not the usual charictaristics of a talk show host. Not only do I love the Ellen show...I can also get my husband to watch it with me most days. That, is not an easy task! When I was on maternity leave, watching the Ellen show made me feel like I was part of it. She made me feel like I was actually around adults again...instead of home by myself with a baby all day. I became addicted to her show and now DVR it every day!
...

jennieb says "Money friendly...but you get what you pay for" about Luvs Diapers

When my child was a newborn, I never used Luvs diapers. I was under the assumption that because they were cheap, they were no good. As he got older, my sitter told me how much she loved Luvs diapers and how cost friendly they were. I decided to try them out and at first I loved them. I even recommended them to my brother and sister-in-law and a family friend. However, the older my son got and the stronger his urine got...the more they began to fail me. One, when they are wet, they have a weird smell that comes off of them. Two, as soon as he would pee in the diapers, they seemed extremely full and looked like they were seconds away from busting open and leaking. I still buy these on occasion, when the store has a good deal on them. But, I try not to buy them too much anymore. My brother and sister-in-law love them and have made them their number one choice. I just think you get what you pay for. I would rather spend a little extra and get the diapers I want. Plus...I...
...

jennieb says "Best overnight diapers out there!" about Huggies Overnites Diapers

Huggies Overnite Diapers are the best invention EVER!!! When my son was three months he started rolling over in his crib all the time. He loved to sleep on his stomach. However, the problem with this is that every day he was leaking through his clothes and sheets. I would wash his sheets daily and it got old really quickly. I was at the store one night and saw these and thought we would give them a try. He is nineteen months now and we have used them every night since. Not once has he leaked through them. Since there are 30+ in a pack, we only need one pack a month. They are usually about $10.99 at our local grocery store. I get coupons in the paper or mail for anywhere from $1.50-$3 off Huggies all the time...so they end up being super cheap for us! I also recommended them to my brother and sister-in-law and they use them on their tweenty two month old and their three month old. A must have product for all mothers with children in diapers!
...

jennieb says "never again" about Fisher Price Private Connection Monitor with Dual Recievers

We got this as a baby shower gift and thought it was just what we wanted. The Fisher Price Private Connection Monitor with Dual Recievers, had two receivers wo we were able to put one in our room and one in the livingroom. We tried to use batteries in it at 1st, but they died after two days. After about a month of using them, they both became soooo staticy and we were unable to hear our child. I tried switching channels but nothing seemed to work. We ended up having to buy a different monitor, so this ended up being a waste of money. I would not recommend!!!

My brother and sister-in-law also have these monitors. Although they have not had to buy another one yet, they were using them for about 6 months when one of the Fisher Price Private Connection Monitor with Dual Recievers, receivers stopped working all together. The other one sounds like there is something rattling around in it all the time. I am betting that it won't be long before they replace them.

jennieb says "love it!" about Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster Seat

I love this travel seat! We bought one for our son when he was first able to sit in a high chair, so that we could take it to resturaunts for more durability for our child. We learned qucikly that it is nice to keep in the car, as we can take it to other's houses when we go, so that our son and sit at the table too...and we don't have to have a child on our lap while eating. After using it for a while, we also decided to buy one for our parent's houses, so that they could have a high chair there when he came over, but could put it away when he wasn't there. The sholder strap is also a HUGE plus when you are carrying a baby, diaper bag and anything else. I now buy this for all my friends and family's babyshowers. Great product!!!
...
