jennangr says "This is almost as good as going to a diner" about Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese

This is the best frozen, (or any other type for that matter, besides homemade) macaroni and cheese that I have found. I have tried other brands and they just don't cut it. Stouffer's is the creamiest and the cheesiest, I guess that's why it is rather fattening. But, I don't eat this everyday, and neither should you. It is for those occasions when I just don't have the time or energy to come up with a meal from scratch. It makes a great meal by itself with a salad. Or use it as a side dish with some fish or other meat. Macaronia and cheese goes with everything, lol! Besides, I get cravings for this great tasting macaroni and cheese. Stouffer's does a good job on this, and their other frozen meals. I go for taste when I buy frozen meals, if it doesn't taste good, why eat it? I'll eat some lower fat stuff sometimes, but it usually does not have the flavor of good old Stouffers.
...

jennangr says "This is one magazine that I pay full price for a subscription" about All You Magazine

This is one magazine that I subscribe to that is not discounted at any of the discount subscription websites that I visit. All the other magazines I subscribe to are heavily discounted, so this tells you that I really like this magazine if I am willing to pay the full subscription price. I look forward to receiving this each month. It is a thick magazine just chock full of coupons for the types of products that I use all the time. Yes, I shop at stores like Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and other discount stores. I cannot afford pricey stores like Bath and Body, Sephora, Dillards, to mention a few. If you are an every day shopper like me, you will love this magazine and use the many coupons in it. I enjoy the articles as they are about every day people like me, not models that look nothing like the every day woman. You won't be sorry if you subscribe to this great magazine, you can always buy one issue at WalMart to see how you like it, then subscribe to it....

jennangr says "Lots of great recipes, but would like more coupons" about Kraft Food & Family

You can't get many things for free these days, especially glossy, well put together magazines. This magazine is both of those. Sure the recipes call for Kraft products, but you can always substitute your generic brand product or other brand if you wish. I do wish they would have coupons in the magazine every time, they only put them in about every third issue. I have tried several of the recipes and each one has been a success. I look forward to receiving this magazine and wish it came out each month. When I don't clip recipes, I usually copy them onto a recipe card, then I pass on the magazine to a friend or family member. They are always appreciative and some have subscribed to the magazine themselves. But there is always someone I know that likes my gently read issue!...

jennangr says "Why is this called "TV Guide", where are the listings?!?" about TV Guide

Why anyone would subscribe to this is beyond me. It is nothing but a celebrity gossip magazine. Where are all the listings? Half of the local ones are not there, it shows channels I don't even have in my area. There are no daytime listings, no listings after 10 pm for heavens sake. No movie descriptions to speak of. I have written and complained to them more than once, but to no avail. No changes have been made since they came out with this disastrous "full sized" magazine. The only thing this is good for is to see if a program (only between 7 pm and 10 pm) is a rerun! Wow, that's really worth the money they charge, isn't it! They better see the light if they want subscribers. A shameful shadow of it's former self!...

jennangr says "Makes a great pizza, fast." about Presto Pizzazz Pizza Oven Model 03430

My step mother told me about this Pizza Pizzaz super duper pizza cooker. I am surprised that she even purchased one since she uses mostly "antique" cooking gadgets, but this one caught her eye. I did not plan on buying one, but when I received it as a gift, what could I do but try it. And she was right, it makes a great pizza, whether fresh or frozen, with no fuss or heating up the kitchen. I do have trouble getting it centered onto the pivot dealie, but eventually I am able to accomplish it, just takes a bit of practice. It is so nice not to heat up the kitchen in the summer, or to have to preheat the oven, which you have to think of ahead of time in order to get your pizza done on time!...
