jenn35 says "Nothing beats a Caffiene Free Diet Coke." about Diet Coke

Diet coke beats diet pepsi anyday of the week. Diet coke tastes great, it's refreshing and you can buy it with or without the caffiene depending on your wants. Although, the caffiene free and caffiene diet cokes taste the same to me. The only bad thing about Diet coke is that the price is more expensive than Diet Pepsi. But to me the taste difference is with the price difference. (Or just stock up when they go one sale)....

jenn35 says "Average food for an average price." about Special Kitty cat food

Special Kitty cat food started out at a lower price compared to other brands of cat food. However as the years have passed the Speical Kitty brand has seemed to catch up to other cat food in price. The cats seem to like Speical Kitty and will eat it...but not nearly as much as other cat food brands. The only time this cat food ends up being a really good deal is when they add extra food to the bag for free. Although, this is rare. I would suggest buying an equivilant size bag of another brand in the same price range. The cats will enjoy it better. It's an average food at regular price....

jenn35 says "I would avoid sears at all costs." about Sears.com

What can I say about Sears? It's just not somewhere I go when I think about getting high quality items. They are very pricey when it comes to comparison shopping, I would find the same item in 3 department stores and Sears would be the highest by far. I cannot say too much for their customer service either. If you expect associates who stand behind their products and know the products, do even bother with Sears. You better know what you want before you even go there. Their rebates are a pain (why can't they just give you that amount off the price of your item when you purchase it, instead of making you play their game). The only way I would shop there is if their price happened to be the cheapest for exactly what I already knew I wanted....

jenn35 says "Great recipes and illustrations." about America's Test Kitchen 2007 Season

The America's Test Kitchen Cookbook and DVD set for the 2007 season are good. I really like the fact that you can watch the show and as they cook read and make notes in the cookbook OR cook right along with them. I have tried a few recipes in this cookbook that were a success. Although there are many recipes that just seem too complicated for a quick meal. You really need to think ahead and prepare before you make most of these recipes. I also like the reviews they give for various brands of food or kitchen appliances/equipment. I think this series was a great value for the money. For $30 you got the entire 2007 season on DVD plus the cookbook AND a guide to the products they recommended....

jenn35 says "Picks up dirt like no other vacuum I've ever used." about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

The Dyson animal vacuum cleaner is fabulous and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pick up pet hair off carpets and furniture. I vacuum at least one a week if not twice. And each time I vacuum a room I fill up the vacuum with dirt, pet hair, and dust. So when vacuuming the 4 carpeted rooms in my house, I empty the dirt compartment 4 times. I would go months before I had to replace a bag or empty the bin with other vacuums. To me the expense was worth the clean carpets I get in return....

jenn35 says "Good gas mileage but a bad choice for bad weather." about Saturn SL2 - 1996

Where to begin... I owed a saturn for over 10 years and finally sold it. I do not miss the Saturn AT ALL. It got excellent gas mileage but I got this at the expence of safe driving. The frame was mostly made from plastic, making the car extremely light. This caused many slips in snowy weather as well as hydroplaning in the slightest rain storm. All it takes in once for a loss of control of the vehicle to know that it is not safe. Also, the horn is a button. So when you really need to use it in a hurry, you have to search for the horn, and by then it is too late. ...

jenn35 says "Excellent magazine" about A Taste of Home

This magazine is great for easy recipes. There is something for everyone in this magazine. Nice variety of recipes as well as a picture for each one. This is helpful when trying to deterimine the presentation of the items. Also makes it easier to find recipes that are appealing. I would highly recommend this magazine. The only down side is that I noticed after years of subscribing that there is an occational recipe repeated in the magazines. ...

jenn35 says "Great for people who enjoy sexual content." about Redbook Magazine

I don't have too many good things to say about this magazine. It is full of sexual content and not enough wholesome articles. The articles, for the most part, give horrible advise on situations. Not a magazine for real people in real situations. I am sorry that I didn't preview this magazine before I subscribed to it. The only good thing was that I didn't spend a lot on the subscription...so I don't feel bad throwing it away after reading the one or two useful pages in each magazine.
...

jenn35 says "Great magazine for family living" about Good Housekeeping

This magazine is wonderful for everyday living idea that would be easily implimented in the home without much cost. The articles are very interesting and applicable to real people in real life situations. Also very usable recipes. The only downside would be the number of advertisements...but what magazine doesn't have too many ads....

jenn35 says "Great for cash back...UP TO 1% on all purchases." about Discover - Platinum Cash Back Credit Card

This card is good if you pay off your balance each month. I make a good amount of cash back each year just by using my card. This is free money. The only thing negative I would say about this card is that they keep reducing the benefits. And just know that it is UP TO 1% back on all qualifying purchases. I am sure there is some fine print somewhere stating the rules for the cash back...but I sure don't know where it is. I am looking into some other credit cards that might have better cash back rewards. ...
