jen46514 says "removes more plaque than Glide and tastes great too" about Reach Clean Burst Floss, all flavors

Okay I must tell you first thing that I am one of the 'flossing Nazis' yes I am a dental hygienist. Ok with that out of the way, I must tell you I use this on all of my patients and myself. Rarely do I have it shred even in between the tightest teeth (my patients are always saying they have tight teeth, few REALLY do). Teeth should be snug together! anyways, this floss removes much more plaque than the 'famous' glide floss and it does not cut the tissue if you accidentally slip, Glide tends to do that. This floss leaves a good taste too, refreshing! And it is among the cheapest floss you can buy.

Remember at least 18 inches of floss, wrap it around middle and ring finger, hold between thumb and index finger and gently slide side to side to get it below the contact point on the teeth, then scrub up and down on each tooth, being careful when you switch teeth, pull floss up over tissue and down again, not straight across, that tissue is important! Good flossing takes more than...
...

jen46514 says "the best toothbrush!" about Sonicare Elite E9500 Electronic Toothbrush

I love sonicare, and I know a lot when it comes to dental hygiene, as I am a dental hygienist. I use this myself, my husband and my family use it, we even give this out free to periodontal patients in the office I work in. It is a great toothbrush. It has a timer so you brush the correct amount time and the 'quad pacer' reminds you to switch areas so you brush everywhere the same amount of time. It does not allow you to brush too hard, if you push too hard it noticably slows down. The charge lasts for up to 2 weeks so you can take it on vacation with you.

The only downside is the brush heads, as water seeps down into the handle and can mold if you arent careful about cleaning regularly. Although they have come out with the Flexcare which fixes this problem with a new style brushhead. But the Flexcare is even more expensive, which is a deal breaker for some and the new brushheads must be replaced more often then the Elite heads. I recommend replacing more often then the...
...

jen46514 says "A MUST read for all women!" about Taking Charge of Your Fertility

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I finally went out and bought it and am so glad I did! It explains all about the Fertility Awareness Method, not to be confused with the Rhythm method! You chart your basal temperature along with Cervical Fluid to discover your 'safe' days if you do not want to conceive, or your best days to conceive! It isnt all about temperatures! It is amazing what things we, as women, have been taught to think were unnatural or dirty, are actually signs of fertility! No more thinking you ovulate on day 14 and all cycles are 28 days, everyone is different. No need for birth control pills if you understand how things work.

Just an excellent all around informative book for women. The newest version comes with a free trial version of the Ovusoft software, where you can chart everything in a program instead of on paper, there is also a website with message boards where you can talk to other women!
...

jen46514 says "dont waste your money on this one" about Gillette Venus Breeze 2 in 1 Razor for Women

I use the regular Venus razor and needed to get some refills, I thought I would try this since it looked 'neat'. Ugh! I couldnt shave my bikini area because the head was too big and the solid bars got all gooey and stringy and actually broke off within a few uses. I keep my razor in the shower but I made sure to keep the solid bars off of any surface so they could dry properly, it didnt help. So after the bars came off I was stuck with a still sharp blade but a huge blade head that was hard to use. Not to mention the refills are expensive. I much rather lather up and shave with the regular venus....

jen46514 says "works great, smells good but not overpowering" about Secret Clinical Strength Anti-Perspirant Deodorant

I originally bought this because I was getting married and my dress was strapless and my wedding was in August, I did not want to stink! I am a 'rule follower' and read directions so I always apply it at night, that was hard to get into the habit of, but it is nice because then I dont have to worry about white spots on my clothes due to putting it on in the morning. I can be sweating everywhere else and not be under my arms, it is nice! Plus the fragrance is not overpowering or stinky (some antiperspirants smell bad!). More 'refreshing'. I only use one click, or less per arm, so one container lasts me awhile....

jen46514 says "very reliable, nice features" about Honda Pilot - 2008

The Honda Pilot Ex-L 2008 is my second Pilot and forsee me always driving one. It is a nicely equipped and nice looking vehicle. I love the quality of Honda vehicles even though I always drove American vehicles before, you just can not beat honda quality. This Pilot I upgraded to leather and love it, I dont think I could go back. Heated seats, powered moonroof, it is nice in any season. My husband complains because it isnt 'fun' to drive in the snow because of the Stability Assist, it is practically idiot proof!...
