jen-jen says "loving my fridge" about Whirlpool ED5FTGX (25.3 cu. ft.) Side by Side Refrigerator

I purchased my new Whirlpool refrigerator at Lowes Home Improvement Center a while back. I sincerely enjoy our side by side refridgerator. This is an excellent refridgerator in all aspects. It has a modern, sleek design, is built well, stays very cool, produces alot of ice, and dispenses ice cold water. The unit is nice and bright on the inside, thanks to the enhanced lighting both in the upper and lower portions of the refrigerator. I also like the fact that the freezer has a light on the inside, well placed, and I am easily able to see what I have stored. I also like the shelving and storage bins, in addition to their placement, within the refrigerator. I like to drink alot of water, so the fact that the unit has the ice dispenser, as well as the chilled water on the outside of the door is wonderful. It's very easy to use by the children as well. Easy and convenient is what I also like about this fridge. Haven't had any problems yet.
...

This notebook is designed almost perfectly for using comfortably. If you look in the pictures, the touchpad is off-center, which I though was for looks alone originally. But on the contrary, I noticed that when I type, my right hand is moved to the part of the keyboard so that both thumbs are right next to the touchpad and an index finger can easily be rotated down. This actually has made quite a difference in the ease of use category. My one and only complaint with the keyboard is regarding the spacebar. I have learned to use just the center of the spacebar (which I think actually improved my typing technique) because the actual button is in the middle of the bar, and touching either end will usually not register. Other than that, the keyboard is not too soft, and not too hard. It also makes a satisfying, but quiet tap for each keystroke. Another observation you might make is that there is no latch to keep the laptop closed. There is no problem with the top staying closed or opening or...
...

jen-jen says "Best Camcorder I've had!" about Canon - HV20 HDV Digital Camcorder

I've had this camera for a few weeks now and I'm really enjoying it. The video I've taken with it seems to rival the quality from PBS HD, but of course I'm not a professional videographer. It sure has GREAT video quality! And I may not be no tech geek or anything but this camcorder is such an ease to use!
The size is surprisingly small. Not all huge and bulky. I don't think they will be able to make this thing any smaller in future versions. I think it would hurt the design rather than make it better.
I almost forgot about the audio problems! Within the first hour of getting the camera I noticed that I could hear the tape mechanism while taping. It was very loud and very noticeable. I was getting ready to take the camera back because of it. Fortunately it seems it was just that the camera needed to be "broken in". Once I watched some video, fast forwarded and rewound the tape a few times the sound went completely away. Now I can't be happier.
...

jen-jen says "Refuse to purchase another General Electric.." about General Electric PDW9980NSS 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher

We bought GE profile appliances along with the monogram cooktop for newly built home last year. The dishwasher never quite cleaned the dishes right from the beginning. After a few months, we noticed that we should surely be out of detergent by now, but it was still almost full! Called GE and they came out in February and said our smart dispenser motor didn't work properly and replaced it. Worked wonderfully at cleaning dishes after that! Until now--6 months later it quit dispensing the detergent again. We are waiting for another technician to look at it. We follow ALL the recommendations and only used the same detergent every time--no mixing. We wash a full load every 2-3 days. The water hardness is set properly as well. Will we have to deal with this again in another 6 months when there is no warranty? I believe this technology is faulty. We paid a premium price expecting a premium dishwasher and it does not work properly. Other reviewers that said their dishwasher does not clean well--check...
...

jen-jen says "Oh I love the movie Twilight..actually my daughter does..." about Twilight - The Movie

so here i am going to watch Twilight..wondering if it was going to be at least comparable to the novel. which we all know that seems to be rare with movies today. i gave it above average of four stars. it's probably due to the fact that i just love vampire movies. my date wasn't into the movie as i was but the story was cute for the romance it had and the action wasn't too bad itself. especially seeing the guy from "never back down"..hehe i guess you can say its worth seeing if you're that into vampire movies like i am. cause my mother and my daughter went to watch it as well. my daughter loved it as much as i did. yet my mother fell asleep and thought it dragged here and there. the plot was good enough for me to stand for. but in a way there were some parts of the movie that did drag throughout the movie. so best to say is that you can probably wait to see it on dvd. which of course i already purchased it.
...
