      <description>This was my first LCD purchase, and I'm very pleased with it so far.  &amp;mdash; &amp;nbsp;This replaced a 10 year old Sony 27" flat screen CRT, and although we are waiting for our DirecTV HD, we have watched HD-DVD's and upconverted regular DVD's on it, and the difference is astounding.  &amp;mdash; &amp;nbsp;We purchased this from CircuitCity, when they were having a big sale back at the end of October. Not only did we save $225 on it, but we also got enough points from MyPoints from this purchase alone to get a $50 gift card. We then used that to purchase an upconverting DVD player (also a Samsung).  &amp;mdash; Setup was a breeze. The hardest part was moving the OLD TV out so that we could set this up. It's mounted on a base that allows the screen to swivel several inches to the left or right, allowing it to be viewed better from the side, without moving the whole TV.&amp;nbsp;  &amp;mdash; &amp;nbsp;We currently have it hooked up to a regular DirecTV satellite receiver; we'll be ordering HD this week.
