jcat1122 says "Best selection of nursing tops, period." about Motherwear Nursing Shirts

Motherwear is the best! For style, value and wearability, look no further for nursing tops than www.motherwear.com. Great selection of dressy and casual styles, reasonable prices (and great sales), and fit that runs both true-to-size and consistent from style to style. I bought 5 or 6 tops when I started nursing and wore them to death the entire time I nursed - I got sick of looking at them but they're still in great shape and I'm about to pass them along to a friend. An important tip for choosing nursing tops: determine which kind of nursing opening is most comfortable for you. Motherwear has a number of different styles (empire opening, front opening, pull aside, etc.) and has an explanation on their website that describes each. I found the empire style the easiest, and disliked the pull aside because they didn't always provide enough coverage.
...

jcat1122 says "True talent on display" about So You Think You Can Dance

Cheers to SYTYCD for it's 5th season! The dancers are better than ever, the choreography is fantastic, and the season is off to a great start. This show is wonderful because it showcases primarily non-professional talent - these kids are really amazing dancers and many of them have had little formal training. Many have been in tutus all their lives, too, but unlike Project Runway, where most of the designers seem to already be working in their fields, most of the SYTYCD competitors have yet to be "discovered." Sure, judge Mary Murphy is annoying, but the guest judges (Adam Shankman in particular) are smart and serious with their feedback. I usually just forward through Mary's commentary on my TiVO :-) Can't wait for Mia Michaels choreography!
...

jcat1122 says "Palm has (finally) done it - a real iPhone killer" about Palm - Pre Cell Phone

Hooray for Palm! As a 12-year Palm user, I've been defending them ceaselessly while waiting for them to get back to the innovation they were once known for. They have absolutely done it with the Pre. It has so many cool features it's hard to know where to begin. Most important is multitasking - you can have email open and answer a call and look up a phone number and send a twitter message all at the same time. No other smartphone will do that, not even the new iPhone 3GS. The synergy feature that combines multiple calendars, address books and email accounts is also great - I have my work calendar, my personal Google calendar, and my family Google calendar all in one place, finally. My only disappointment is the phone application. Sprint is great (for me, anyway, I've had it for 10 years and really like the service), but the actual phone application on the Pre is not nearly as user-friendly or advanced as it was on my old Treo 755p. I'm hoping they improve it with later software...
...

jcat1122 says "Excellent everyday pump" about Medela Pump In Style Advanced Shoulder Bag

I was given a Medela PISA by my sister-in-law who used it for three days while her son was in the hospital. I replaced all the parts and then started using it when I went back to work part-time when my son was 2 months old. I used it twice daily while part-time then three times a day when I went back to the office full time. While not the most quiet, it was quiet enough so that I could be on a conference call at work while pumping. It's very efficient and pretty gentle. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to buy a pump for longer-term use at home or in the office.
...

jcat1122 says "A must for a baby who doesn't like to nap" about Graco Sweetpeace Newborn Soothing Center

This is a must for any baby who doesn't like to nap. Even at 10 months, when we put my son in the Sweetpeace he goes right to sleep. The iPod adapter is fantastic - don't have to listen to the canned music again and again. The variable speeds have been good through the growth of our son - he liked the slower speeds better when he was smaller and has "grown into" the top-level of 6 speeds. The swing is very quiet. My only con is that it takes up a fair amount of room - you need room for it to sit on the floor and then even more room for it to swing in (more than a traditional back-and-forth swing). But well worth devoting the space to it!
...
