These days when you walk into a grocery store the drink aisles are stocked with sodas and way to sugary and sweet drinks. Even the drinks I think will be safe are way to sweet and I end up watering them down! When I saw Arizona Mucho Mango at my local grocery store I thought, "Why not. I like Arizona regular tea, it's not too sweet and I like mango." I was not disappointed by Arizona Mucho Mango. It had just the right sweetness and great flavor. It's vitamin C fortified, but that's not why I drink it; sometimes you just need something tasty. Arizona Mucho Mango has no preservative, no artificial color or artificial flavor but is rather naturally flavored. There's even a little note on the bottle that says, "Arizona uses new amber bottles to protect the natural antioxidant properties of our beverages from light." Generally my cats are not big treat fans...Okay, they're really treat snobs. But I wanted to find something that my cats would enjoy besides their regular food and that I could put in their toys. When I found The Goodlife Recipe Wholesome Delights cat treats I thought I'd give them a try. When I got home I took out the bag of treats and shook it. Like the crazed, attack anything that crinkles or makes sounds, cats that they are, they came running at the sound. I put a few Goodlife Recipe treats on the ground for them to test out. They ate them and actually looked at me for more! I put a few treats in an empty tissue box and let them play.

Perhaps one of the reasons they like The Goodlife Recipe treats is the soft inner shell. The treats are hard on the outside but have a flavorful soft center. My cats usually snub the hard treats but I think the soft center helped. The flavor I chose was salmon and shrimp and there was actually real flavor added into these Goodlife...

I'm always looking for great toys to entertain my cats (and keep them from playing with my stuff). During one of my regular jaunts to the pet store I came across the Purr Pet Play-Fulls. There's four balls in a pack and they have some kind of glittery material on the outside. I haven't found a problem with the glitter falling off. I think it's more like the yarn that has metallic like piece weaved into it. The Purr Pet Play-Fulls balls have a rattle in them so you can shake them to get your cats attention and then throw it. Of course if you throw anything near my cats or they hear something hit the ground, they come running. My cats love the Purr Pet Play-Fulls and chase it all day until they get it stuff under something. The Purr Pet Play-Fulls are perfect for keeping my cats from keeping bored, they get exercise and this toy stimulates them (which would help some destructive cats).

Monk is an amazing TV series that has been on for a few years now. Adrian Monk is a former homicide detective who was put on psychological leave after the car bombing murder of his beloved wife Trudy. Monk has always had problems but now they're really amplified. It just seems so wrong to laugh at a guy with so many problems. Mr. Monk definitely has Asbergers, and what his assistant, Natalie, and her daughter Julie, like to call issues. Mr. Monk is very particular and has obvious obsessive compulsive disorder to the point of hurting himself.

The series was made in a very Sherlock Holmes way with Monk as the detective, Natalie his side kick, the Captain and Randy Disher as the kind of screw ups. Monk also has a dysfunctional nemesis Harrold.

Some phrases you can almost always find in every Monk episode are, "He's the guy," "I just solved the case," and my favorite, "Here's what happened." Some other observations from Monk that truly make the show are: When he must make everything...

Caramel, caramel, is my friend. Caramel, caramel, everyone wins. Okay if you can't tell by now, I really love caramel and that's why Green & Black's Caramel Organic candy bar is so popular in my household.

The chocolate is rich and creamy; and in the tantalizing and a bit gooey caramel and you've got one mouth watering treat. It's cute, it's quirky, it's fun to read. I'm talking about The Doubtful Guest. This is an Edward Gorey illustration.

The title itself, The Doubtful Guest, is confusing because I'm not sure why the guest is doubtful. I'm not sure what the guest is, but he sure is cute. He sulks around in corners and lays on the floor like a pouting child. The art work is great in that old style and dark, in only the way Edward Gorey can be (morbid and intriguing but doesn't push you away). While some of Edward Gorey's books are a little confusing and definitely keep you thinking, The Doubtful Guest is a fun, bizarre little read that you'll enjoy.

Edward Gorey books are a great treat for anyone who enjoys dark and a little morbid reading. The Doubtful Guest is no different.

I woke up this morning and decided it was a good day for a movie. The movie choosen turned out to be Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. I loved the book as a child and was curious about the film. When I got to the movie theater I was shocked to find out it was in 3-D. I was not thrilled with this concept as I wear glasses and never had luck with those flimsy glasses. We even paid for the glasses and had to give them back at the end. What the heck! Anyways, the glasses turned out to be better and did work although the sides glared because they weren't wrap around.

Plot: Flint Lockwood is a boy genius who is always coming up with these wild and crazy inventions that usually backfire on him. One day he makes a machine that can turn water into food. When the machine gets away from him and flies into the sky, crazy things start falling out of the sky, like hamburgers and ice cream.

What I thought: There's obviously more added to this movie than the book had in it with...

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthis Nixon and Chris Noth all play in the continuation film of the TV series Sex and the City.

Plot: I don't want to ruin too much of it. It's basically just a wind up of the tv show and bringing everything to a close. After 10 years of dating, Carrie and her hunky boyfriend, John, decide to get married.

What I thought: The opening choreography along with the funky upbeat music is an attention grabber and sucks the viewer in. The wedding planner is hilarious. The wedding dress photo shoot is really fun. There's a great scene that features best of the '80's (music) with worst of the '80's (clothing). Although Sex and the City is one big extension of the TV show, people who haven't seen the show will still enjoy this film. Be ready for this long, long movie!

Bruce Willis, Avril Lavigne, Wanda Sykes, and Nick Nolte are just a few of the voices in Over the Hedge.

Plot: RJ the raccoon has stolen a bear food but losses it. Now he has one week to get it all back. Meanwhile, the furry critters of the forest wake up from the end of winter to find a giant green thing (hedge) has taken over their habitat. Now everyone must learn to survive, share, trust and help each other out to survive.

What I thought: Anyone will enjoy this film. Over the Hedge is a handy learning tool for kids to learn basic rules like sharing and truthfulness, all while having fun. Or you can just watch it as a fun film to laugh to. Hammie, the squirrel on a constant high (and probably ADHD) cracks me up with his actions and the lines he has. I find myself saying "But I like the cookie" way too many times! Over the Hedge has great color (stimulating for the littler toddlers), fun music (all by Ben Folds Five) and fun loving characters. Beware of the exterminator...

Jason Statham stars in Crank, a high octane film.

Plot: Hitman Chev Chelias (Statham) is drugged with a lethal dose in his sleep. However, he's not dead yet and has one hour to find the guy who did it and exact revenge. Chelias soon realizes the only thing keeping him alive is pure adrenaline.

What I thought: This is not the calm, cool side of Statham that watchers usually see, and love. Some scenes could have been more tasteful or left out all together. Crank had the makings of a great film, but instead is only good. The music that plays when Chelias adrenaline is low is funny. Crank is a pretty strange movie, but does have some good action and some great adrenaline scenes.

Crank is not for kids of any age!

Plot: Jack Stanfield is the security chief of a bank where he designed an anti-theft computer system that's impossible to hack. Bank robbers use his skills and system against him when they kidnap his family to get Jack to hack his own system.

Why I like it: Of course, just hacking into the system to save his family is not enough for a Harrison Ford movie. Suspense and great turns are waiting for you in Firewall. There's great action, Ford style; interesting and captivating storyline. Each character brings something to this film.

Firewall&******* a great film to watch anytime you're in an action mood.

Soccer Dog is one of those cheesy but still fun to watch films. The title leaves nothing to the imagination so you know right off you're watching a film about a dog playing soccer. No secrets there.

Soccer Dog is a fun loving film and I'll tell you why: the dog is freaking adorable. Okay that's not the only reason. The dog catcher is obsessively obsessed (if that's possible); the goalees dad is a mafia guy so he has the hotdog guy who bad mouths his son "dealt" with (hilarious); the orphanage director is scary; and I"m sure the dog had a ton of fun because he got to play with a soccer ball the whole time (doggie heaven!). There's also really funny standoffs.

Get this movie and be ready to not get into anything heavy. Just sit back, relax and watch Soccer Dog.

When I heard that a major retail store was having a going out of business sale, I decided to stop by and see how busy it was. Luckily it wasn't busy so I decided to browse the store. I need a few summer pants for work so I made my way to the clothing section. Usually I pick tons of pants and none of them fit and I leave feeling defeated. Today I picked a handful of pants...and they all fit and looked fantastic! Just my luck.

One of the pairs of pants that looked better than all the others was a pair of Caribbean Joe Capris. Capris have never looked good on me. They always looked to long and ridiculous. The fit around the hips and waist was perfect to the length ration (hard to find when you have big hips), so I had to buy these fab pair of Caribbean Joe's.

The pants are a light khaki color which go great with any color. They have a zip and button front and then two buckle cinches on the side. These could be for a more secure fit around the waist which is flexible,...

I figured the World's Softest Sock would be a great sock for me to buy. It's marketed toward people with larger feet/ankles, Diabetic Edema and sensitive skin. I was tired of my socks leaving a line on my legs where the top of my socks were. I was completely wrong about the World's Softest Sock.

This sock was made for sensitive feet, boasted a wider stretch at the top, dense cushion for a "walking on clouds" feel, and soft seams. I didn't get to experience any of this because the sock was so loose it was moving around and falling down into my shoe. That was really annoying and uncomfortable. This wasn't something that happened over the course of a day but rather every time I took a step it the World's Softest Sock would slip down so that in a few steps it was completely off my ankle!

I'm am constantly using highlighters at work for different projects. I'm also losing highlighter caps alot at work. So when I went on the hunt for different color highlighters with no lids, I knew I had found Eden when I saw the Sharpie Accent Highlighter pack.

The Sharpie Accent pack comes with five colorful highlighters; green, pink, blue, yellow, and orange. All the highlighters are a click top so I never have to worry about losing pens and they're retractable. The pens also have a clip so you can clip them onto your pocket or anywhere else you clip a regular pen.

Another great part abut the Sharpie Accent pens is that they have a smear guard. This means that when you are doing homework or working and you want to highlight something you just wrote, the ink from the writing pen won't smear when you highlight across it. Although there are some pens that this will still happen. I'm thinking those really inky pens.

Where the Wild Things Are was one of my favorite stories as a child and I still love to pick it up and read it. Max is a "little monster" who was being bad so his mother sent him to his room. He wears a monster costume through out the book and fits with the theme. A jungle grows out of his imagination and out of his closet at the same time. The monsters are great because they're big and cuddly and not scary at all.

Where the Wild Things Are is a great example of kids using their imaginations. The book itself is very short, yet the pictures are just amazing and so full of detail and color and unlike other childrens books. A great book to have around the house.

I live in a house with wood floor throughout the whole house. On top of that I have three furry animals who shed a lot, so I am constantly sweeping my floors. The Le Creuset Casserole Dish was a housewarming gift from my sister. This bad boy takes care of all my baking needs! It's great for cooking veggies, casseroles and anything else you can think of, even desserts!

The label says the Le Creuset Casserole Dish can go from freezer to oven although it then says not to put a frozen dish in a pre-heated oven. I just don't think I'll be putting this in the freezer, no need for that. With the lid that comes along with it I was able to use this dish to store leftovers in.

The great thing about the Le Creuset Casserole Dish, besides it's versatility, is it's heavy duty resistance to chips and stains and doesn't absorb smells or flavors. Nothing worse than a lingering odor! The dish comes in fun festive colors, mine is red, that makes it nice to go from the oven to the dinner table! At a kitchen store this hefty dish has a hefty price of $60, but is worth it in the long run as you will have years and years of enjoyable use of the...
