jayb88 says "this sweeper is not worth it" about Swiffer Sweeper®

This sweeper i went out and bought both the dry and wet wipes for it thinking hey, this ought to make things a bit simpler.

No. This item pretty much stunk. if you need to lightly dust your floors then its great. but for actually getting up lots of dirt or lots of dust no way. It is very simple to use, i will give it that much, but its not good for cleaning.

The wet ones are worse. forget cleaning up a simple spill or removing a food smudge on the floor. i had to stand there and scrub like a demon to get it to even make a slight dent. SO it totally ticked me off.

I would not waste your money on this, its worthless, and wish i had never wasted nearly 20$ buying the sweeper and extra wipes for it.
...

jayb88 says "I love this coffe maker...except" about Gevalia CM-500 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker

This coffee maker came free with my purchase of some coffees. I must say i LOVE this coffee maker. I can set it to perk when my alarm is set to go off in the morning. It makes great cups of coffee and is ideal sized for me, my hubby and our nanny.

BUT...there is a downside, and i wish they would fix it. If you happen to spill a bit of water getting it into the back, the front panel gets wet and the maker goes completely nutso. i wish there were a waterproof seal on the timer and electronic area. well, beggars can't be choosers, and I won't give it a terrible rating since its rather great quality for something thats free!

Plus, the maker does dry out after about an hour and still works!!
...

jayb88 says "WORST plumbers ever! and rude to boot!" about Roto Rooter - Roto Rooter - Valdosta, GA

We recently moved into an older house out in the country. We got the power turned on startedmoving things in and realized the water wasnt cutting on. I didnt know how to fix what was wrong (no idea what priming was at this point)

So I called roto rooter. They were well respected and trusted where we moved from, so i thought i would recieve the same service in this new town. Boy was i wrong!

The plumbers showed up with a wrench and took a nut off my pump, said it needed priming. Then looked at me and asked if i had any water. I was thinking DUH thats why i called you! because i have no water! So i said, well I have about a glassful left in the house.

He then told me he didnt think that would be enough, but he would try. I thought that sounded wierd, but i thought no worries, he is a pro. He will fix it.

I brought out the water. He poured it into the hole, then held his palm over the hole. He said it wasnt priming, then put the screw (or nut whatever its called) back onto the hole and told...
...

jayb88 says "worst gate ever" about Evenflo Secure Step Top of Stairs Gate

This child gate is horrible. My two year old son figured out how to open it within an hour of us installing it. We now have to strap a belt around the bars of the stairs and th gate to keep the baby from opening it.

We have since installed a half-door, this is the most safe secure and child-proof method i have ever seen. Childgates are a joke to any parent with a slightly curious or mischevious child.

Dont waste your money.

...

jayb88 says "easily adjustable, very mom-friendly" about Graco Travel System

I absolutely loved this car seat. My favorite feature is the one-step belt adjuster. I have always had a nightmare of a time readjusting th seatbelt as my babies grew, this one made it a snap.

My son loved it, seeed very comfy and loved to sleep in this seat.

I would highly recommend this seat to anyone. I have 6 kids, been through several brands and types of seat, and this one is the best for a newborn and baby!
...
