jas23847 says "There is no charge for awesomeness" about Kung Fu Panda

Dreamworks has done it again. Kung Fu Panda has a phenomenal cast including Jack Black as Po the Panda. This movie has some highly repeatable one-liners and kept the whole family holding our sides the whole movie. Seriously, we've owned the movie for two weeks and have probably watched it 25 times already. And I can't wait to watch it again. It has a great story line, some good lessons for kids to learn, well-developed characters, and enough substance to entertain adults too. Of course, now we can't keep our kids from playing Kung-fu with each other and the dog, but that's to be expected.
...

jas23847 says "The ultimate in comedy!" about Scrubs

Scrubs is the single greatest comedic medical show ever created! The characters are well developed so that you like even the "bad guys" and every episode just feeds my addiction. I think I've watched every episode about 5 times, some even more. The hilarity ensues with regularity and there's always a twist or turn that you weren't expecting. J.D.'s inner monologue is the icing on the cake, he always just has an interesting way of expressing thoughts that we all think, but maybe never said out loud...
...

jas23847 says "Great for kids AND it's not irritating to watch repeatedly!" about LeapFrog: Letter Factory

LeapFrog Letter Factory is awesome. My son loves singing along with the DVD and actually asks for it. He's three years old and knows all his letters and what sound they all make. This DVD has helped make it possible for him to be interested in reading and he brings me things and wants me to help him sound out words already!! I've never wanted to push my kids into education because I want them to love learning the way I do, not hate school and avoid schoolwork. LeapFrog makes it fun to learn and now my son has figured out that each putting all the letters' sounds together is what makes words. It's GREAT!!
...

jas23847 says "Great value and they stop leaks!" about Luvs Diapers

With two kids in diapers we can't afford the expensive diapers and I don't have time to use cloth anymore. Luvs work great at substantially less cost than Huggies or Pampers! Now that they have stretchy sides (Bear Hug Stretch), they work great even for little butts too- with my first one, I could only use Luvs once he hit size 4 because he needed the stretchy ones to keep leaks in. So now my 2 month old and my 14 month old are both in Luvs, size 2 and 4 respectively. I wish they were a little more environmentally friendly, but we can't have everything can we?
...

jas23847 says "Amazing bouquet, a once in lifetime experience" about 1999 Dom Perignon Champagne French Champagne

Dom Perignon 1999 vintage is their best vintage by far that I have tried. I first got this to celebrate my husband's homecoming from deployment and we were wowed,.We've also tried the 1995 and 1996 and 2000. The 1999 Dom had our favorite combination of flavors on the pallette- light and fruity with a hint of wood, almost sandalwood undertones. There is a spectacular array of flavors that differs between when you first taste it and the aftertaste. I would say its one of those things you must try before you die!!
...

jas23847 says "Fantastic value! Great bubbly for the price" about Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante , Sparkling Wine

Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante is my old standby in champagne. It's got a great fruity flavor, semi-sweet, and perfect with strawberries and chocolate. I always keep a bottle of this on hand for special surprise celebrations, like when friends come over with good news or my husband got promoted. It's certainly not up to par with Dom Perignon but at only 10% of the price is worth that and more. This was the first sparkling wine I ever tried and I love it! For the taste I would willingly pay twice the current price!
...

jas23847 says "The best picture quality on the market" about Sony - BRAVIA KDL-52W3000 52 in. LCD Television

I thought my husband was insane for wanting to spend so much money on a television. I thought that they're all just about the same so why bother spending so much. I was so wrong though. The picture quality is so fabulous, you can see why people spend the extra $10 through the cable company to get everything in HD. Also, I like that even with the sun shining in through the window, there is no glare. We have ours mounted on a full swivel on the wall but even when viewing it from an extreme angle, you can still see the picture perfectly. The colors all come out really well too! All in all, I think the Bravia is the best deal out there if money is no object. I wouldn't change a thing!
...

jas23847 says "My iphone is my life, an extension on myself." about Apple - iPhone 3G Cell Phone

I am a complete moron when it comes to anything technologically savvy. Yes, my minor was in computer engineering, but somehow I can't even figure out how to use half of the electronic things we own. I was very skeptical when my husband wanted to buy iphones for us and switch to AT&T. I figured it would be a waste of money since I wouldn't even be able to figure out how to do anything but make phone calls. Now I use the calendar program everyday to manage my scheduling. I also use tons of the additional download applications like weight tracker, the Holy Bible, Scrabble, YPmobile, Pandora Radio, iSaber, Trailguru, facebook, and many others. I know how to use the internet on the phone and even manage my photos. I love Apple products because they are intuitive to use and therefore easy to figure out jsut by playing with it for a minute or two. The only thing I would change is to make the speaker on the phone louder because when I have the phone on speaker, I can barely hear the person talking...
...

jas23847 says "Problems with long-term use" about Cuisinart Non-Stick Cookware

I've had my Cuisinart non-stick pots and pans for about 6 years now and I can't use them at all anymore. The non-stick surface has started to chip and scratch off and that's REALLY bad since then you end up with toxic chemicals in your food.... They were good for awhile, but I would have hoped they'd last longer for the price. I don't use metal utensils on them or anything and have always followed the manufacturer's directions on cleaning and use but the non-stick surface still is super scratched.
...

jas23847 says "The ultimate in decadence" about cheese cake factory - Louisville, KY

When my mother-in-law suggested we eat lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, I was skeptical. I thought that if they specialize in making cheesecake, then the lunch menu couldn't be that great. Boy, was I wrong! They had something for everyone and even though I was stuffed from our delicious appetizers (made-to-order guacamole-fantastic!) I couldn't stop eating my portabello mushroom sandwich. Healthy and delicious, I couldn't believe how awesome everything was. My kids ordered the chicken fingers and I swear they were the best chicken fingers I'd ever eaten. It certainly wasn't cheap, but the portions are large and the food awesome!
...
