januna says "Peanut Butter Rocks!" about Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter 16oz

In my home peanut butter reigns supreme and over the years I have tried just about every brand on the grocery shelf. I got on a health kick recently and decided to try the Smuckers Natural Peanut butter. The first thing I noticed is that the texture is a little more grainy than the other "creamy" brands on the market... but not unpleasantly so at all. You have to stir the oil into the peanut butter before you first serve it, but it will not rise to the top after that again. DONT get tempted just to pour off the oil to make it "more healthy" because otherwise you won't be able to get a knife through it to scrape it on your toast! — What I found is that this peanut butter is very versatile because it is not as sweet as other brands. I use it to cook with AND it tastes wonderful with all kinds of jelly. It's the best peanut butter I have found that matches so well with honey. — Everyone should buy a jar of this stuff! —...

januna says "Chewalicious" about Laffy Taffy Candy 1 lb Per Unit

I am a big Laffy Taffy fan and I like it almost as much as I love chocolate. I kind of forgot about it for a while with all the other candy advertised on the office, but I am experiencing a happy reunion. Laffy taffy is sticky and chewy, but it also is sweet and melts in your mouth. Unlike some other non-chocolate candies, Laffy Taffy does not leave an unpleasant aftertaste in your mouth. — I have begun buying Laffy Taffy for my office candy dish and am having to refill it 3 times as often as before! It's great for people who are tired of buying mints for casual work environments like mine. — I would recommend this to anyone who does not want any leftover Halloween candy after the Trick Or Treaters this year... —...

januna says "Worth it" about Intuit TurboTax Deluxe 2007

I used an online service last year to prepare my taxes, and paid approximately $70 just for my federal return. This year my boyfriend suggested that I use TurboTax since he liked using it last year. — I loved it! I was asked questions that I had not seen any of the last 3 years on the various online tax programs I used. It took a little longer than the other programs, and some questions did not really apply, but... I got my biggest return yet - by far! You can also save money by using it to file taxes for your other family members. — Next year I can use it to transfer information from this years return... so I know what I am going to be using in January... —...

januna says "All my friends are leaving" about University of Phoenix - Online Campus

I work full-time and have kids at home, but I need to finish my college degree in order to move into management at work. When I applied at this university I was led to understand that I would finish up within 2 years, but 3 years later my advisor told me I needed more classes. I started taking coursework with 3 friends, all of whom have switched to other schools. — Although classes met one night per week, I had to work with a team outside of class which was very time consuming and problematic. Not only was it very difficult to rearrange our schedules to meet, I also received a low grades in some classes because although my own work surpassed standard, my teammate(s) did not contribute their part to our group project! — The "convenient" online format was fine... when it works. We were required to print off curriculum which may, or may not, be accessible... and when it did work, that's extra paper and ink that I paid for at home. Speaking of cost, beware of...

januna says "I'd rather swallow a vitamin" about Viactiv Calcium Soft Chews

I tried this product because a friend of mine can't swallow vitamins and said that these chews were her favorite alternative. Although I have been happy with my vitamin tablets, I had a sore throat and thought I would buy some. I was very disappointed that not only was the product pricey but it also tasted like mineral infused chocolate and stuck in my teeth like taffy. The chews served their purpose until my sore throat got better but afterward I passed the remaining product on to my friend. — I would not recommend this product to anyone who actually likes chocolate unless they just can't swallow a vitamin. —...
