janeylane25 says "Lost: more fun than a jiggsaw puzzle" about Lost

Sometimes, as the season goes on, I become less interested with what's going on on Lost. I'm not all that excited to see a the season premiere. However, I'm glad I stick around because the writers on Lost always seem to reedem themselves with their season premiere episodes and make the show interesting again. They reel me back in with new mysteries and crazy way of telling the stories one puzzle piece at a time....

janeylane25 says "Big Brother junkie" about Big Brother

When I first heard about this show I thought it was a horrible idea. It took me three seasons before I finally tuned in. During Season 3, I was totally hooked. Not only do you get to watch people live their lives, like Mtv's Real World, you also get to watch them compete in crazy games to try to win a cash prize at the end of the summer. All though no season has managed to top Season 6 for me (I don't think I'll ever root as hard as I did for Kaysar, James and the Sovereign Six again) and Dick from season 8 almost made me stop watching all together. Still, I'll be sure to keep tuning in to see what crazy stunts they have in store for new houseguests in the future....

janeylane25 says "Law & Order: a new favorite" about Law and Order

Law & Order is a great show if you like crime dramas. The acting is good and the way they use familiar stories and give them a twist is very entertaining. Law & Order was almost canceled this year but luckily it was given another chance to gain popularity and ratings. I used to watch it occasionally but since they've added Jeremy Sisto to the cast, I'll definitely be watching weekly. Hopefully, I'll be one of many to tune in and this season's ratings will be good enough to keep the show off the chopping block for many seasons to come.
...

janeylane25 says "Not the "Best" but good enough" about The Best Years

The Best Years is not the best show on television or even the best on The N for that matter. Nonetheless, It's a show I enjoy watching. At times, The plots seem forced and not completely believable but isn't that the rule for soap operas. I find myself rolling my eyes here and there at some of the things the characters say and do but I'm still left wanting to know what's going to happen next week.

Samantha - the lead character- is a strong willed, independent girl that starts college and tries to forge new relationships and continue her education. I liked Samantha a lot in the beginning but as the season went on her temper and "woe is me attitude" started to be a bit annoying. So, by the end of the season I found I was more interested in the story lines of the supporting players. Namely, Noah and Kathryn. I'll definitely be looking out for season 2.
...

janeylane25 says "This the motherflippin' best show on HBO" about Flight of the Conchords

Flight of the Conchords is hard to describe. It is original, creative and hilarious. Jemaine and Bret are perfect comedy duo with the right balance of wackiness and comteplative situations. Their catchy tunes get stuck in your head for days, in a good way! The characters are like nothing else on tv.

I reccommend you catch this show when the new season begins and watch Bret and Jemaine's journey to the top of the music charts.

...
