janeenoel says "The Gold Standard of Diaper Covers" about Bummis Super Whisper Wrap Diaper Cover

I love our cloth diapers, and these covers make all the difference. They are so easy to use with simple velcro tabs that are strong and durable. I have never, ever had a leak when using these covers. The fit so nicely over both prefolds and fitteds, and fit well on either end of the size range. I was originally using Proraps but the large tabs made for a really bad fit as my baby was getting close to outgrowing her current size. The Bummis fit wonderfully all the way through. They might be a little more expensive than some covers but I think they are still a great value and I highly recommend them....

janeenoel says "Brilliant invention!" about Arms Reach Original Co-Sleeper

The co-sleeper made our nighttime parenting so enjoyable! Our daughter slept in the co-sleeper until she was 8 months old. We loved having her close by and I NEVER felt sleep deprived, even when she was still getting up several times each night to eat. I know it's because I never had to set foot out of bed or even sit up to feed her. I'd just roll over and lift her up beside me. I never had to worry about rolling over on her or her getting smoothered by the covers or accidentally rolling out of bed.

I think it was good for her to sleep close to us, but not too close. When it was time to move her into her own room, she made the transition seamlessly. I think sleeping in the co-sleeper rather than right beside us gave her an element of independence that made the move simple. She was already used to sleeping "by herself" even though we were right there.

I highly recommend this product to every mom I know.
...

janeenoel says "Great, high quality kitchen workhorse!" about bosch universal mixer

I've had my Bosch for about a year now and I love it. It sees regular use doing everything from mashing potatoes to mixing up large batches of cookies or bread. It can easily knead four loaves of bread with no problem. I have absolutely no concerns about the quality of this mixer. It makes breadmaking a dream.

I would have given it five stars except that it tends to "walk" on the counter when working on a heavy batch of dough. I either have to put it on the floor (where it rocks back and forth horribly) or put it in the sink (where it rocks into the sides of the sink) or just stand there and make sure it doesn't fall off the counter. This is my only complaint, but I still recommend it highly.
...

janeenoel says "Unbelieveable comfort! I couldn't live without it. " about Ergo Baby Carrier

I bought this when my daughter was 4 months old and I would say it is the single best baby purchase I have made. We took our daughter on a 9000 mile roadtrip when she was 4-6 months old and the Ergo made the trip so much easier. We took her everywhere in it. She was so comfortable and enjoyed being close to us. It was so comfortable that my husband and I literally would fight over who got to carry her in it. We both love using the Ergo!!

When all of my Baby Bjorn-wearing friends' babies got to be about 4 months they were too heavy to babywear any longer, and they all complained about how uncomfortable their carriers were. I could comfortably wear mine for 8 hours with no back pain whatsoever.

The Ergo may be pricey, but it is worth every penny. My daughter is a year old now and we still use it frequently and will for many years to come. She loves being "up" with us and we love having her close by. And when the time comes that we no longer need it, I know we can sell it and get at least...
...

janeenoel says " High Quality Lightweight Stroller" about Maclaren Triumph - Charcoal Stroller

Please note- this refers to the '06 model of this stroller.

I did a lot of research before buying this stroller, and I couldn't be happier. In the past I've used several Combis and this stroller stands head and shoulders above them. In the world of lightweight strollers, the Triumph is a standout.

I purchased this stroller on clearance at BRU last winter and it was one of the best baby purchases we have made. We took a 9,000 mile roadtrip when our baby was 4-6 months and took her everywhere in this stroller. It performed fabulously. It's very lightweight and folds compactly. It's sturdy and attractive. It's a dream to push and turns on a dime. It's small enough that we didn't feel uncomfortable squeezing it on to a crowded subway or in a large tour group. We have been extremely pleased with it. Maclaren has an excellent reputation and this stroller proves why. It's a quality, well-built product that I believe will provide many years of good service.

The sunshade is virtually useless...
...
