jadeheart says "got rid of the bbq smell in my house" about Febreze Air Freshener

I originally bought it for pet odors, but we had a bbq one day and with the doors and windows open the smell permeated the entire house. I took the spray and spritzed every room and the odor was gone instantly! Usually this smell will last days, but when I came home after 2 hours it was still fresh smelling and neutralized. Love it!...

jadeheart says "necessity if you have puppies" about Nature's Miracle Stain & Order Remover

It was a quick fix for stain and smell removal for my puppy. Luckily he was small so his accidents weren't too bad. I also discovered it helped remove other stains on my carpets. At first it didn't smell, but lately (I'm not sure if they changed the make-up of the product) when I use it there's an alochol smell afterwards which disappears when it's dried....

jadeheart says "makes dusting easy and fun!" about Swiffer Duster®

I live in a woodsy area and no matter how hard I try things get dusty fast.. also because I don't clean on a regular basis. The swiffer duster has been so handy! It traps the dust so when I wipe things down it doesn't go flying into my face irritating my allergies.

I just plain love them. :)
...

jadeheart says "the floor is visually cleaner after one pass of the dyson!" about Dyson DC14 All floors Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

My friend was raving about the Dyson 14 and so I decided to borrow his and see how it worked on my carpets. After one pass the floor was visually cleaner and felt cleaner too. It managed to pick up my hair, the dog hair and everything else - this is no easy feat.. my hair in general is about 12-14 inches long and I shed a lot! I quickly got online and found refurbished ones on amazon and figured it was a good investment into cleanliness. :)

After 3 years I still have the vaccuum, it's still working great and my friends are always trying to borrow it....

jadeheart says "great learning environment.. if you get involved" about University of California-Irvine

I went to UC Irvine when it wasn't quite as big as it is now and got lucky that I got involved in different organizations, clubs and campus life quickly. That's the key to having a great experience at UCI. You have to get involved. The city itself is pretty quiet with not much to do, in fact I don't think there is one bar in the entire city (outside of UCI's own pub). There is so much to get involved with, resident life, clubs, organizations, sorotities/fraternities, intramural activities.

Class wise, being a social sciences major I really liked the size of most of my upper division classes. They weren't too big or too small and generally had great discussions. A lot of my classes were really interesting and the teachers really have a passion for what they're teaching.

I also enjoyed the facilities, there were plenty of places to grab lunch and with the new students center it sounds even better. I also enjoyed the new gym that luckily was finished before I left. It's fantastic......

jadeheart says "canon's never fail me" about Canon - PowerShot SD750 Digital Camera

I've had canon's forever and started out with film cameras. they have never failed me and seem to only get better with time. canon's are reliably great cameras and you really get value for your money.

the SD750 has a big screen and is lighter than some of it's counter parts and thinner too. i've heard canon stopped making cameras with such a large screen beacuse they were easily breakable. i keep my canon in a case and in my purse all the time and haven't had any problems in the last 3 months that i've owned it.

this one is fast and easy to use, they've made some changes with button placements but nothing that would confuse a regular canon digital camera user. you just can't go wrong with a canon digital camera!
...

jadeheart says "i haven't seen a flea in years!" about Advantage Flea Control

I have owned or been working with dogs for the last 10 years and more closely in the last 2 years. When I first owned dogs they didn't have any treatments like this and we were using flea colors, garlic pills and baths. It just didn't seem to help. Our dogs would still be itchy.

The first dog I used Advantage on had developed a skin allergy due to fleas. When we started the treatment, you noticed less scratching the very first day! And within a month his skin was getting better and his hair wasn't falling out anymore. I also never saw a flea a week after starting the treatment! His coat got more shiny and healthy.

Ever since then I've used Advantage on every dog and I recommend it to everyone. My pets are just happier with it and I still haven't seen a flea in the house. Plus I can trust that when I take them to dog parks where there might be fleas, they'll die shortly and won't become an infestation....

jadeheart says "it's beautiful!" about Apple - iPhone (4GB) Cell Phone

The iPhone is just as wonderful as Apple made it out to be. It's easy to use and looks great too. The programs could use tweaking but you know Apple has new software up their sleeve and are working on adjustsments so it's all worth it.

It's definitely not a business person's phone (you want to look at Blackberry and Treo for that).. unless you're a Mac based company. It's works great with my Mac and syncs seamlessly. I love the Google maps feature and the Edge network is surprisingly fast - so Safari and web surfing is faster than a 56K modem. Only thing that's missing right now is a chat application that can connect to Google talk, AIM or Yahoo. But I eagerly anticipate it being part of future software updates. :D...
