iriemama says "Simplicy Vacuums are amazing and powerful" about Simplicity Simplicity Vacuum

A few years ago, I went to a vacuum store and thought I was going to buy a Dyson. The salesman explained that a Dyson has plastic parts and when you need repairs, you have to send them in to the factory rather than just bring them to the store and have it repaired faster.

So he showed me the Simplicity Vacuum which has metal parts and was a commercial grade vacuum. It was less expensive and more powerful than a Kirby and I was sold right then and there.

So, for $300 I went home with my new vacuum. I've had it for 4 years now and I use it almost every day and it is amazing. I have two big dogs and a messy husband who works in construction and lawn care and an adorable but equally messy 8 year old son. Life is not clean around my house, until I pull out the vaccum.

I'm always amazed at the power that this thing has, and it just won't quit! My dog sheds like no other, and that vacuum picks up the hair and keeps my house fresh and clean. I actually enjoy vacuuming because of how well this...
...

iriemama says "Dell Financial refuses to work with customers-has high rates." about Dell Financial - Dell Financial

A few years ago, I purchased some Dell products adn was lured in with perks if I signed up for a Dell Financial account.

The account helped me purchase a computer and a few other items which I needed. However, when it came time to pay for them, Dell set me up with an outrageously high interest rate.

A couple years back, I was in an unfortunate and unplanned situation where my husband passed away and had no insurance. I quickly went to a two person budget on a one person salary. I called all my creditors and asked for some leniency while I worked out my situation and tried to get back on track with my new situation. It clearly wasn't my fault and I was doing everything I could to keep up with payments despite the fact that I could no longer afford to do so. Every creditor was willing to work with me except for Dell.

Not only did they refuse to give me a month off of paying, a lower interest rate, or even waive some fees, but a few months later - after I couldn't make my full payments...
...

iriemama says "Garmin GPS is accurate, but not always up to date" about Garmin - StreetPilot c340

I've had my Garmin for a few years now and love it. It's saved me so many times from getting lost. My only complaint is that even when I update it online it doesn't always update.

It is a little slow in getting started and often gets hung up on the aquiring location screen.

It is very user friendly. I was able to figure out how to use it without having to read a huge manual.

I like the features where I can choose categories like shopping, restaurants, or even search by intersection if I don't have an exact address.
...

iriemama says "Samsung Instinct ok but not amazing. Could be better" about Samsung - Instinct Cell Phone

I purchased the Instince because I wanted something close to the iPhone but of course Sprint doesn't offer the iPhone. It's ridiculous that carriers restrict you to only their products because in the UK you can purchase any equipment you want and then take it to the carrier you want and hook it up.

I really wanted the new Google Android but of course Sprint won't have that for a while either. So I settled on this one. I was most concerned with whether or not it was java enabled. The sales person said it was but they are not knowledgeable and it reads javascript, but is NOT java enabled. Big difference. So, half the things I want to do with the phone are not possible.

The phone has some nice features, but doesn't have many options for a carrying case or anything to protect it. They have a case and then they sell you some crappy screen protectors that work like a sticker and scratch terribly after the tiniest touch. So now my phone is scratched up and ugly.

I can't use Google Street View,...
...

iriemama says "Detox and Fast the Healthy Way and lose up to 8 pounds in 1 day!" about The Fast Track Detox Diet

I work out and do mma training 3 days a week and am quite active otherwise. However, I wasn't losing any weight after 3 months and still felt a little bloated. I just had this feeling that I needed to detox so I asked my chiropractor for advice. She recommended the book The Fast Track Detox Diet by Ann Louise Gittleman and said that it would be a healthy way to lose weight but would also teach me to eat better.

Well, not only did I lose weight but I feel amazing, and I've changed my eating habits for good. I'm small to begin with - 4'11" and was 125 pounds. In a week, I lost 7 pounds total and the book has taught me how to eat healthy and not feel guilty if I want a little something un-healthy every now and then.

I eat smaller portions now, eat the right foods, and can still cook the things I love and eat tastefull stuff. I just modify the recipes a tad and replace unhealthy things with organic and pure foods. No more splenda, harmful sweeteners, or non organic toxic food for me. Plus,...
...
