ingridbergman says "I was disappointed -not Lush's usual fantastic quality" about LUSH Karma Perfume

I love Lush's Karma scented bath bubble bar- so I thought the perfume would be the same- NOT! — Karma perfume is very heavy and a little "off" to me. I am a child of the hippy era- and thus a patchouli expert :>- this patchouli based perfume is just not very inviting- very musky and almost "musty". — I do know that perfume works differently on everyone, based on body chemistry, so try some at the Lush store if you can-perhaps patchouli just loses its' magic on world weary skin?? The bottle is too expensive to order via web and then be disappointed....

ingridbergman says "Lasts for years, dependable and you could use on an intruder!" about Mag-Lite 3 cell D

I got a MagLite about 10 years ago- still works beautifully. — I was tired of the cheap flashlights that conked out just when you really needed some light-like on Sunday night when the electricity goes off and no stores are open. — MagLite is heavy duty- I don't like guns, so I figure that the 'ol MagLite could be used to fend off an intruder- it's long, with a special "grip" handle, and I wouldn't want to be whacked on the head with one!! — I agree with other reviewer- it must be secured in a car, because as noted above, you don''t want it to fly about and inflict a head injury on your passengers. ...

ingridbergman says "a mini trip to paradise for your face :>" about LUSH Ocean Salt Scrub

Ocean Salt is blue and salty- has a vodka base with citrus - like a tropical drink. — (warning- do NOT attempt to ingest it!!!) — As a face scrub, it's fantastic. Label says use once weekly for dry skin- but my Midwest middle aged skin does fine with 2-3 times weekly. — Leaves skin soft and smooth, but exfoliated. — Pricey- $16.95 USD for 4.2 oz.- but lasts a long time- approx 1/2 tsp. does my face. Works great on knees, feet- but too pricey for me to use on body regularly. — Rinse thoroughly - drying salt sticks in hair otherwise. — Keep in frig in summer- use cold for refreshing scrub. — In winter, if you can't afford to go to Aruba, this is a great tropical reminder. (Of course, Aruba would be a hundred times better than face scrub, but what can you do???? ) — ...

ingridbergman says "Smells like toffee candy- great for kids!" about LUSH Honey I Washed the Kids Soap

OK- I am a LUSH addict- but it's because the products are unique. — Honey I washed the kids is a mild soap which smells fantastic- like toffee. — You only have to use a little, make sure you keep the bar dry between uses so it doesn't melt- it's too pricey to let the kids melt it during a bath. — I don't know if guys would like the scent- but women and kids adore it. —...

ingridbergman says "If you have time and energy to dig, real bargains can be had!" about Nordstrom Rack - Chicago, IL

Nordstrom Rack is not for the faint hearted - I nearly broke my ankle in the maze of shoes lying everywhere in the shoe department, sandwiched between tiny aisles- BUT- if you like cool shoes that normally you can't afford- go for it. — There are also clothes, household linens, and a wild assortment of other items- if you can go during the day on a weekday, I would recommend the trip. —...
