Our vet recommended our first Kong for our first dog when we complained that we could not find a toy that our dog would not destroy within the first day or first hour.  We now have recommended Kongs to several friends with great chewers.  Our dogs enjoy them most with a bit of peanut butter frozen inside.  Since investing in the Kong products (which ever is appropriate for our dogs' different chewing stages) we will never be convinced of anything better!...
