imokay66 says "Very Rude!" about David's Bridal

I went to David's Bridal to find an affordable wedding dress. When you first walk in they want you to " Sign in". I had already went to a bridal show and they sent me at least 20 e-mails since. When I told them that I just wanted to look , they didn't want anyhting with me. When we finally did ask for help it took 15 minutes before we just decided it wasn't worth the wait. We then tried another one across town. Different stores, different service Right? Wrong they too were rude and very unhelpful. It seemed that they didn't want to help me because I wasn't planning on spending a ton of money. I tried on a white dress that was pretty, but simple. One of the workers came over and said, Oh yeah that would look good as a mother of the bride dress. Even thought white was the only color they had. I told I didn't want to buy it if that was the case and she said Well if you shopped in the bridal section that I wouldn't have that problem......

imokay66 says "I expected more" about GQ (Gentlemans Quarterly) Magazine

I know that this is a "Mens" magazine, but I sometimes like reading articles about what is hot for guys and what they really think. I was disapointed with this particluar magazine. I guess it would work for the upper class more seroius businessman, but not for the average man. The clothing ideas suggested are jus tnot in the typical mans price range. The jokes they have in there are funny and sometimes the political articles are interesting, but for the price of the subscription, there are just too many other, better magazines out there....

imokay66 says "Hard to find, but fun to play" about Nintendo Wii Console

This product was ( and still is ) really hard to find. I had to keep checking to local stores to see if they had gotten any in. Usually they only would get one or two and so they would sell out quickly. It is also expensive. Not really more than most gaming systems, but at the rate they are available, the price probably won't go down for a long time. The game Wii Sports that it comes with is fun to play. Show just what kind of action is used with the different games. My family came over to play it and then my mom went out and bought one. Like most systems you should check out some of the games before you buy them, because there are some that aren't worth buying for the wii. Overall, though probably my favorite system of the systems out there....

imokay66 says "A fun parody of action films with a big action ending. " about Hot Fuzz

Like Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz is a spot-on genre parody that will appeal most to people who enjoy the kinds of movies being spoofed. Every aspect of the film is an over-the-top version of the action genre, which itself is already marked by extremes. This means things can get outrageous and even silly, particularly in the fast-paced, kinetic closing sequence, but it also means that you'll be laughing hard down the stretch. Some people complain that the middle section is a little flat, and the observational humor in that act is more restrained than the rest of the film, but it's still packed with jokes and more than a little character development.
...

imokay66 says "Not just for kids" about Ratatouille

I was unsure of going to this movie, but my fiancee wanted to see it. It was a bit strange becasue we don't have any kids, and there were a bunch in the theater, however there were several couples like us also. It was a clever movie and made me feel like a kid again. It had the good-hearted nature of most cartoon movies, but the comedy and characters was so likable that it was okay. The whole theater actually clapped when the movie was over becsaue everyone liked it so much....

imokay66 says "Fun Party Game" about Hasbro Catch Phrase

This game is so much fun to play with friends and family. It does get kind of nerve racking because the timer goes faster when you are close to running out of time. It is east to get people into playing. We usually have a weekly game night and this game is usually one of the games we always come back to. The rules are easy and quick. You seperate into teams and get your team to guess the word on screen. ONce they get it you pass the device to the other team. Sort of like hot potato. You do this until the time has run out and whoever is stuck with it at the end loses. If there is only 2 people I got the onther person to guess as many words as possible and counted them up . Whoever has the most words wins....
