igotbuttons says "Great Computer Introduction Software for your Toddler!" about Knowledge Adventure JumpStart Toddlers

A few years ago I was looking for software for my oldest child to help him learn computer skills which was educational as well. I finally found that software in the JumpStart series. It was easy for him to learn to use the mouse and have instant results in the learning games. He was also able to associate the letters & numbers on the monitor with the letters & numbers on the keyboard and because the "sound" of the letter was spoken when he chose one from the keyboard he also learned his letters and numbers. He especially enjoyed the silliness from clicking on items on the main screen! I have since started my middle child on this software and she is just as captivated with it!...

After my daughter learned some basic computer skills by playing JumpStart Toddlers I upgraded her to this title. She is learning more needed skills to assist her when she begins school such as shapes, colors, basic memory retention, counting, reciting the alphabet, etc. She loves the games, "Color by Shape" & especially the Sing Along Songs!
...

igotbuttons says "Best online site to sell your handcrafted items!" about Etsy.com

Etsy.com has got to be one of the best places for crafters and artists of nearly any type of item to sell their items on-line. The site is a conglomeration of nearly any type of crafted item you can think of including vintage items! I sell vintage items, my handcrafted items and crafting supplies on etsy as well as another large auction website (can you guess which one? lol) and I have better results selling on Etsy than I do with the other place! And Etsy costs less in the long run and the community is just great! The forums are a wealth of information for new sellers. If you are a crafter looking for a new selling venue then I recommend joining up with Etsy and taking part in the forums for selling tips to increase your sales. ...

igotbuttons says "Educational & Inspirational Kid's Movies with Story Morals." about VeggieTales Movies

The VeggieTales line of movies really are a great addition to your children's video library. Not only do the movies provide action, humor and educational themes they also teach children about morals and on occasion there is an underlying (but NOT GLARING) inspirational (or religious) theme to each episode. Each movie also provides one or two "cut scenes" to a fun musical skit and I have found that I have memorized the songs to these skits and sing them when the scene is on to entertain my children and even other adults! The animated characters are "normal looking" vegetables - not weird Japanese anime - and my 7 mo old really connects with these videos when I'm trying to get stuff done around the house. My 4 and 11 year olds also enjoy watching and singing along with these movies. I give the entire line of movies 2 thumbs up!...

igotbuttons says "Captivates & holds attention of my 7 mo old so I can work!" about Baby Einstein Videos

We have several of the Baby Einstein videos and these videos are perfect to hold the attention of my 7 month old son so I can get housework done! He laughs at the puppets and "dances" with the music. The information available at the end of the movies helps me to relax with him and help him to learn words, colors and just plain have fun with him when I'm taking a break from my chores. I always know when the movie is over and the credits are rolling because he gets fussy until I rewind it for him to watch again or pop in another movie.

I highly recommend this series of videos for busy moms who need an extra "hand" to help them with the baby while they attend to housework!
...
