hollyp76 says "The Medela Pump In Style is a must have for new mommies" about Medela Pump in Style

I purchased the Medela Pump in Style breast pump after I was told that my son would need to stay in the hospital due to jaundice. I went straight to Babies R Us and bought the pump in style. It was so easy to set up and use that I was back at the hospital in time for his next feeding. It comes in a stylish black carry bag that has a cooler for transporting breastmilk as well as room for all the necessities. I really like that the parts are dishwasher safe and can be sterilized in the microwave useing the medela quick steam bags. I highly recommed purchasing extra parts-shields, vlaves, etc. This is a big help if you plan on pumping on a regular basis. I had two sets so that there was always one clean. The pump itself is quiet and very effective without hurting me.

The only drawback is that it is pricey and not a hands-free version. If the hands-free version had been available when I made my purchase I would have gone with that one.
...

hollyp76 says "I wish I had bouth the Monitor sooner." about Summer Infant Handheld Color Video Monitor

I purchased the Summer Infant Handheld Color Video Monitor when my son started climbing out of his crib. I had been hesitant to purchase a video monitor before this because the are so pricey and often get mixed reviews. I went with this one based on the advice of a cousin who has owned it for 2 years. I love being able to see what my boys are doing in their room without getting up. The picture is quite clear although it takes some getting used to if you have never seen you kids with night vision before. I love that the parent end can be plugged in on my nightstand or travel aroung the house with me. I also like that you don't have to keep the viewing screen turned on all the time. I have noticed that the unit can get quite warm to the touch if you leave the screen on for hours at a time but I see no reason to leave it on while you are sleeping. When I want to check on my kids, I turn the screen on and then turn it right off.

The only issue that I have with the monitor is...
...

hollyp76 says "The Evenflo Expressions high chair is very bulky." about Evenflo Expressions High Chair

I purchased the Evenflo Expressions High Chair from Walmart for my 2 year old son. I needed to put him back in a high chair and wanted something that would easily fit at my dining room table that was sturdy and reasonably prices. The high chair had very good reviews on the walmart website and was a steal for just $60. The high chair was NOT on display at Walmart but I purchased it anyway. It was easy to put together and well-made. The adjustable height feature made it very easy to pull up to my dining room table. I liked the fabric of the seat which is not fabric but not plastic for easy cleaning. The seat cover is also maching washable which is very important for a high chair. The tray comes with an toy that is interchangeable with other Evenflo products. The tray is also dishwasher safe and easy to remove with one hand.

I had two complaints about this high chair. It only has a strap that goes around the waist- no 5 point harness. This was something I wasn't thrilled...
...
