hnebel says "Radio Flyer wagons...not the same as they were but still great!" about Radio Flyer Radio Flyer Trailblazer Wagon

We recently purchased the Radio Flyer Trailblazer wagon with canopy from Target. I've researched these wagons online but failed to locate any others that have the extra storage "tub" on the back of the wagon. I don't know if this is a new or older design. I found another one very similar, except it didn't have this extra storage. And it was a higher price. Anyway, so far this wagon seems to be a good fit for our family. We have one son who is a year old and he loves riding in it. The only problem is that the handle does not attach to the front wheels in any way. For those of you that remember the old Radio Flyer wagons that was half the fun, sitting in the wagon and using the handle to stear it. (Although unsafe...perhaps that's why it isn't that way anymore) The reason it bothers me though is because it's hard to make sharp turns with the wagon. The wheels will catch when you try to go in "reverse" too. They will eventually turn themselves around and it will roll but not before you push...
...

hnebel says "Elmo Live rocks!" about Fisher Price Elmo Live

Elmo Live is great! I recently bought one for $30 on sale at my local Target store. My husband kept wanting to get this for our son, who just turned one on 3/26/09, every time he saw it. I didn't want to pay full price for it! After purchasing it I can say that it probably was worth the investment. While our son is still too young to really interact with Elmo he does enjoy watching and listening to him. He especially likes the music and songs. He will bob up and down with delight, "dancing" with Elmo. That would be my only complaint, is if Elmo had more music. I think he only sings two or three songs. He tells two different stories among various other things. You can "take" Elmo's noise and in a funny voice he will tell you "If Elmo doesn't get his nose back, Elmo has to talk like this all day!". Overall we are very pleased with Elmo Live thus far. We have many, many Sesame Street toys and this is the favorite right now. He (we) also really enjoy TMX Cookie Monster. It's a good companion...
...

hnebel says "Equal in quality to more expensive brands!" about Parent's Choice Milk Based Infant Formula

Since giving birth to my son in March 2008 I've come up with every way possible to save money on baby expenses. One way being that I buy Parent's Choice (or other store brand) formula. I'm a new mom and decided I wanted to know a little more about the company that provides these formulas. Upon some thorough research I have learned that PBM Nutritionals is the leading manufacturer of all store brand infant formulas. Among them being: Wal-Mart, Target, Sam's Club, KMart, and Walgreen's. (I'm sure they provide to other stores as well but these are the five main stores in my area). Also, the company is owned by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. The only can of formula that I've found to not identify as PBM (although it is), is Target. When buying store brand formula look for the PBM Nutritionals name in very small print on the back of the can. All of these formulas are exactly the same. That being said, check your local store ads and on occasion these products will be on sale. Some weeks I buy from......
