hlk3374 says "They only heartworm preventitive I use." about Heartgard Plus Chewables

I love Heartgard Plus Chewables. The dogs think that they are getting a treat. Heartgard has been around for a long time, so that means something to me. I don't like to try to newest products that come out, they don't seam to have to go through all the same testing as they do for human medicine. They put out some new medication that sounds like it would be great, but no body tells you about side effect, or they find out about side effects monthes after it has been on the market being used. So I stick with Heartgard.

Heartworm is a devastating thing although many pet owners don't believe it is a threat. They don't think about how hard the treatment is on the dog, they are basically supposed to be on "bed rest." They also don't think about how expensive the treatments are. Alot of vets like to treat from May thru Nov. But I usually start with the first pill in April, just because I usually start seeing bugs flying around in March or April. And I usually give the last pill...
...

hlk3374 says "Great for trainning" about Zuke's Mini Naturals

Zuke's MIni Naturals has to be one of the best dog treats around, especially for trainning. You can put them in your pocket and they don't break and crumble like alot of other products. Zuke's has none of the usual dog treat additives or allergans, resealable bag, extra nutrients and natural ingredients is great....

hlk3374 says "Pill Pocket are gods gift." about Mars Pill Pockets

I absolutely love this stupid things. I wish I could come up with an idea like this and make a million. I have a cat that I have to pill twice a day, it is impossible, we were both misserable. Along came pill pockets, at first I was skeptical, because my cat will not eat treats of any type, except wouldn't you know it, she loves pill pockets. Now giving pills is no problem. My Aussie, who is 12, was getting pills so often that she was getting wise to when a pill was in anything, EXCEPT pill pockets. Now pill pockets are the only way that I am able to pill my Aussie. They can get a little costly when you have to give them all of the time, but I just buy the x-large and use the minimum on any given pill, that way they last longer....

hlk3374 says "I love this product for skin and coat." about The Missing Link

I really like this product. I have an aussie with skin and coat issues due to allergies, etc., she also has a protien losing enthropathy. This product has helped with both issues. At one point after a period where the aussie was sick, and not getting any of her supplements, her skin was all flakey like a person with psorisis, and her coat looked horrible and was very thin...With in a few week on Missing Link her skin was great, and her coat was already looking better. Now her coat and skin are great. I have all three of my dogs on it. I have also given it to my cat for a skin issue just like the dogs skin issue. The cat I had switched their food, and my female cat ended up with her whole back dry and flakey like the dogs was, she even had spots where she had rub her hair off. I changed food, and started giving the missing link, in a week her skin was better, and her hair is slowly growing back. She is an older cat....
