gsdmommy says "Safe for your pets and works on both fleas and ticks." about Frontline Plus

I've been using Frontline Flea and Tick Preventative since it came on the market. — Unlike the over-the-counter (OTC) products you can find in pet product areas in stores, Frontline is only sold through veterinary practices. The difference between this and the OTC flea or tick products are two-fold: — First, Frontline stays in the animal's pores and is not absorbed through their skin. This makes it more effective since it stays where it's needed, and it's safer, since the other pesticides that are absorbed through animal's skin must be metabolized (processed) by their kidneys and liver. Over time, these products will compromise your pet's organs and cause damage, probably shortening their lives. — Second, Frontline is the only product that protects against both fleas (90 days) and ticks (30 days). Other products treat only one or the other. I live in a residential area and only use it in the early spring and again at the end of...

gsdmommy says "I flipped this car and walked away with a scratch on my arm." about Chevrolet HHR - 2006

My husband had just bought the 2006 HHR in February of that year. It was his very first brand new car ever! I had to drive to Kansas City, KS from Oklahoma City in May, and since my Rodeo needed transmission work, I borrowed the HHR for this trip. At 12:30 in the morning, on my way home on I-35, I drove into the median and flipped the car. It was totally destroyed, but I walked away (walked being important here) with only a quarter inch scratch on my arm and later on, some wicked bruising from the seatbelts! — The roof was caved in to about 6 inches above my head and all the windows shattered. Apparently I flipped onto the front driver's corner, rolled and landed upright. But the cabin remained intact, the seats didn't move, and I am so grateful to that dead little SUV wanna-be I can't really find the words. That particular car didn't have side airbags, only the front, but certainly protected me. I believe the...

gsdmommy says "Excellent quality, safe, and a free replacement policy!" about Lupine leashes and collars

Lupine makes outstanding leashes and collars for dogs and cats. They are high quality nylon in beautiful designs and colors that you can match or coordinate. The leash handles are covered in a softer fabric to be kind to your hands. Lupine has a replacement policy for leashes or collars that have been chewed or rip. I've had to use it twice and both times re-ceived my equal replacemnt quickly. I've never had a leash or collar fail, only chewed up when I was in a hurry and didn't put them away. My only concern is that for toy dogs and cats, they make a thin leash with a small clip, and all the rest of their leashes have a large clip. For just small (20-40#) dogs and medium (40-60#) dogs, I think the clip is too big and will bang against the dog's neck when they walk. — I use Lupine leashes and some leather leashes from AmeraPet. All my collars are Lupine and match the leashes, so when we go "out on...
