greatgirl says "if you're a tall teen you've hit jackpot" about American Apparel

the idea is great, but the reality is that american apparel is overpriced and the clothes are cut for skinny, tall kids. there is a generosity of length in the tank tops, but not of breadth. these tank tops run small, but they are longer than most other tanks. when you shrink them, there's still some length so that your stomach isn't showing. but they're basically junior sized without saying so. i'm looking for another resource for tank tops.
...

greatgirl says "expensive repairs are your destiny" about Apple iBook G4

Yeah, yeah, yeah, apple computers are modern, hip and easy to use, but do some research on line and you'll see how apple has problems in their screens that are not covered by warranty, and which they know about and refuse to address. In fact they are vigilant in drawing a line that it's your fault your screen has those black blotches or lines that so many apple users know about. The product is mostly good, but the company and the service repair is rotten. bad apples.
...

greatgirl says "blech" about American Home Shield Home Warranty Plan

This company sends crappy technicians, and if you aren't vigilant and tenacious in your follow up, it's easy to get consistently bad service. If you complain too much, they drop you from renewing! They send technicians at their discretion and there is no guarantee that once you call someone will call you back or show up to fix your home problem in a reasonable amount of time.
...

greatgirl says "best gas mileage and coolest green car out there" about Toyota Prius - 2007

the prius has the best gas mileage of any car out there that's green. it's zippy and very hip. the only two bad things are that the rear visibility is bad. toyota has tried to correct this with a video camera that shows you what you can't see behind you on a screen on your dashboard -- but this feature is not part of the standard package and is extra money. the other problem is that it's probably not the safest car to be driving in an accident. it's small.
...

greatgirl says "the best big hybrid available today" about Toyota Highlander Hybrid - 2006

if you want to go green and the prius is too small or not safe enough, the highlander hybrid is a great option. the mileage is nowhere near as great as the prius mileage, but it's better than other cars and you're doing something positive for the environment. the third row of seats is very easy to fold up or down and you can make this a 7 seater car. however, it's very hard to get into the third row and once you're there, you're squished.
...
