http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/grammasgal Thu, 15 Nov 2007 17:51:10 GMT Reviews by grammasgal http://www.viewpoints.com/O-The-Oprah-Magazine-review-71302 When Oprah first came out with her magazine, I jumped on the bandwagon and purchased a year for myself, all of my friends and my mother.  We would talk about all of the articles and share our thoughts and feelings about them as well.  We always appreciate the fact that the magazine has wonderful articles.  These articles are helpful, insightful and full of wonderful ideas and tips which make like easier.  As well, the articles allow us to open our eyes to new and different aspects of life which, for some of us, have never occured to us prior to reading the articles.  With all this said, the only complaint we all have  is the fact that there are so many advertisements in the magazine.  It appears that there is page after page of ads.  With all the money that Oprah has, you would think that she would'nt need the ads and would just put out a really good magazine without having to tout someone elses products. ... Thu, 15 Nov 2007 17:51:10 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/O-The-Oprah-Magazine-review-71302 grammasgal 3 http://www.viewpoints.com/Avon-Naturals-Shower-Gel-review-54980 Every once in a while I see an advertisment for Avon, my mother brings home a catalog, or I see a catalog on the desk at the beauty shop.  I've not had wonderful experiences with Avon products, so I overlook them more times than not.  However, since I've been in this points club through my computer, and they advertised that there was a big sale and there was no shipping charges, I decided to check it out.  As I am a great fan of shower gels, I decided to purchase several (I believe I purchased almost every scent) of these gels.  I have used a few of them, and have the same complaints of each:  it bubbles up but has no effective bathing action, most of the scents smell fake, and it leaves a terrible scum on my bath.  Consequently, I am giving the unused products to the Goodwill and they can do whatever they want to with them.  I won't even give them as presents!!!  The only positive things I can say about this product is that it has a flip top... Thu, 15 Nov 2007 17:46:15 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Avon-Naturals-Shower-Gel-review-54980 grammasgal 2 http://www.viewpoints.com/Bath-and-Body-Works-Anti-Bacterial-Deep-Cleansing-Hand-Soap-review-ad53 I discovered this product by accident.  I was at my neighbor's house and was in need of a good handwashing after taking out the trash.  This bottle of hand soap was on the counter and I decided to use it instead of dishwashing soap.  To my surprise,  I liked it very much.  I followed the directions and used it accordingly.  I loved the fragrance too.  When I asked my friend about the soap, she told me that she doesn't use anything else in her home.  I kind of got that when I had opportunity to use each bathroom in her townhouse!  There, a bottle of different scented anti-bacteria hand soap, lay on the counter of each sink.  Of course, I had to try them all, and have my favorites.  I now use this anti-bacterial soap at home and have encouraged my fellow co-workers to have it at their stations for the same reasons I have it at mine.  I love this stuff and it works... I don't remember which one.  However, I do know this:  This product is absolutely wonderful!  My mother and I use it every day and love the way it works.  Because it is a convection oven, it cooks everything quickly and evenly.  As well, we can roast, broil, and toast in this oven.  I believe, for the amount of money which we spent on this item, that we got a fabulous deal.  Even it was more money, we would be just as happy with...
