gracygrape says "Get checks for surveys or get MyPoints" about SurveySavvy.com

Surveysavvy.com sends emails as often as you wish with surveys based on your profile. You get a certain dollar amount for each one you complete and you can either have them mail you a check within 4-6 weeks, or you can convert. Each $1 is 100 MyPoints. I'm broke so I opt for the check, but I hear good things about...

gracygrape says "It's cool" about Nintendo Wii Console

I bought a Wii for my fiancee and we loved it. Wii Sports was great fun, especially with the option to find out your fitness age. And we also had Zelda: Twilight Princess. The game is more fun to play on Wii than the gamecube version is to play on gamecube, but it is almost exactly the same. I was a "wii" bit disappointed. — — However, our wii broke - it would not play any games-- and we sent it in to Nintendo for repair, still under warranty, showed our receipt, etc. Not only could it "not be fixed" but we had to pay a lot of money for the service, and did not get a replacement console. I don't have another $300 nor the time to wait to try to find another one. —...

gracygrape says "Great all-around entertainment center" about Dell Inspiron 600m Laptop

My first year in college, I realized how necessary a computer was, and decided a laptop was the way to go. Being that I'm not too tech savvy, I did a bit of research into what my friends owned and what worked/didn't work. Dell came highly recommended because of the cost-friendly feature. I used my pell grant to pay for it. I'd like to thank the federal government :) — — I customized my Inspiron online with Dell.com and was able to get the features I needed and wnated- fast processor, memory, DVD R/W drive, CD-Rom drive, internal wireless card, surround sound speakers, Windows XP, Norton Antivirus, and a 6month free trial of AOL, and 3-4 years warranty and 24 hour customer service. You're also able to see how much each feature costs so that you don't overspend. — — Through the company I work for, I also received a 12% discount and was able to earn MyPoints for my purchase, which made it worthwhile. So check if your company or school has a discount...

gracygrape says "It works very well and it does not make a lot of noise!" about Patton MaxFlow Radiant Heater

I live in a 3 bedroom apartment with my older brother and my mom. My mom is anemic and so she gets cold very easily. I can have this on in my brother's room -- central to the apartment, and it will warm up the floor in my mom's room. It makes a little clanky noise when it first comes on but is hardly a reason to not buy it! I love it and I can also have it in my college residence hall without violating any policies...very...
