goofy1979 says "Delicious, healthy cereal" about General Mills Cheerios

Cheerios is delicious considering how healthy it is. It is low in sugar, has fiber, and low in calories.

It is tasty considering there isn't much sugar added. The price can be a bit expensive so try to buy it on sale. The generic brands aren't as good though.

The only thing is that it can get soggy if you wait too long but doesn't get as soggy as fast as some cereals. I would definitely recommend adding this cereal to a healthy diet.
...

goofy1979 says "Fun place to go with a family" about Boomers Parks - Upland, CA

My husband and I went to Boomers earlier this month and had a great time. We bought the all attraction passes so we got to do quite a few things while we were there.

Miniature golf- It was the first time I had ever played cosmic golf. Even though it was crowded, I liked the autosphere of playing golf in the dark. We played the other indoor golf course and I thought the fairytale theme was really cool. The outdoor course was the least desirable of the 3. Boomers doesn't maintain these courses as well.

Go karts- I wish they had more go karts running as there was always a long wait. I enjoyed being able to race other people.

Ferris wheel- nive view. It takes forever to get on and off.

Bumper boats- Didn't go on these this time. However, people can spray you in the face with water so I passed on this.

Rock wall- Fun but I wish I had more upper strength to stay on longer

video games- The prizes are cheap so I didn't play any of the games.

Overall, a fun place to go. It gets a bit crowded...
...

goofy1979 says "Great show but not as good as the original" about 90210

I used to watch the original 90210 and it was only of my favorite shows. This remake of 90210 I enjoy as well but it isn't as good as the original because of I think the storylines were better before.

I like that some of the original characters are back on the show. They have dealt with some serious subjects during the first season- drugs, pregnancy, etc. and will deal with even more during this second season.

The Wilson family started out a bit too goody-goody but we will find out this season that they are not as perfect as they seem. (An affair, hit and run, etc.)

I watch the show because I like the characters though I would have liked it if they kept Ethan.
...

goofy1979 says "Best contact solution on the market" about Ciba Vision Clear Care Contact Solution

I used to buy the generic contact solution formula until my eyes turned red. I found out that I was alleric to preservatives in the solution so I was told to try Clear Care. I haven't used any other brands of solution since. Clear Care cleans your contacts better than any other solution.

The only drawbacks to this solution is that is takes so long to clean your lenses and the case must be kept upright. (I don't know how many times I've knocked over the case by mistake!) The price is higher than other solutions so I try to buy it when on sale.
...

goofy1979 says "Great SUV for the price" about Hyundai Santa Fe - 2007

The Hyundai Santa Fe is a good midsized SUV for the price. The safety ratings are among the best you can get for a SUV. (The side airbags offer extra protection). We've had the car for 2 years now and haven't had any problems with it. So far, it's been reliable.

The seats are comfortable and I like that the rear seats recline.

The downsides to the vehicle are that the paint seems to scratch easily and it can be hard to see out the back when changing lanes. The gas mileage is poor as it seems like we have to refill everyday when we just drive around town.

Good SUV for the price and the long warranty is a big plus.
...

goofy1979 says "Gives Ipod a run for its money!" about Creative - Zen Vision M - 30G MP3 Player

I've had my Zen for about a year know and am still happy with the product. Sure, it is heavier than an Ipod but the features make it worth it. I can a lot of songs on it and it supports many type of music files.

One thing that I like is that is has a radio. True, with all of the music in the library I may not need a radio too often but it is a nice feature to have. It also comes with a recorder.

I do wish that it had more accessories available like the Ipod. Amazon.com has a good selection and I bought most of my accessories off of there. Please consider the extra costs when buying one of these- wall charger, screen protector, a case, and I even bought a transmitter so I can play songs through my radio.

I would like to see a search function on the machine. As far as I know it doesn't have one.

The music quality is great but the ear buds are not. They keep falling out of my ears!

Overall, I would reccommend this product to people. My dad liked mine and even bought one himself. It's pretty......

goofy1979 says "I'd stay here again!" about Orleans Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas, NV

We stayed at the Orleans hotel in Vegas this past July. We decided on this hotel after seeing a great deal online.

One con is that the hotel is off the strip. Orleans makes up for it by having a great shuttle bus system. They drop you off right in the middle of the strip. This means we can leave the car at the hotel. Driving in Las Vegas is NOT fun so we loved being shuttled around for free. We never had to wait too long for the bus which was a plus. The bus drivers were courteous for the most part.

We enjoyed the room. It was clean and just your standard room. We were only there for sleeping anyways.

One day we did venture down to the pool. There were a lot of people because this was in July after all. The pool is average but who cares when it is 118 degrees outside.

We did get a chance to try the lunch and breakfast buffets. I would recommend the lunch buffet over the breakfast one. The food was decent for the price. Sign up for Club Orleans and save a buck.

Overall, I definitely will stay......

goofy1979 says "Good product and good value" about Serious Skin Care ProMinerals

I bought the Today's Special Serious Skin Care Prominerals kit back in July. I figured I would give it a try. I didn't realize it at the time but they actually give you a lot of product for the money. The size of the foundation is huge compared to other brands. The autoship is set up to ship every 3 months but I can easily do every six months on this kit.

I have skin with acne so I always have a lot to cover. It does okay with covering it up. I have to apply the product with a concealer brush in those areas with acne.

The product holds up well when I sweat during the summer. When I used liquid foundation in the past, sometimes makeup would drip down my face.

I do wish that Serious Skin Care would do a better job with teaching us how to apply it. It is easy to apply but other makeup lines give you a DVD with it with directions. I would rather see how it is apllied versus reading it on a card. The HSN demos are useless because the models already have it on their faces and of course they have......

goofy1979 says "This makeup is just okay" about Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup

I decided to try this product because the infomercials made the product look promising. Be aware that if you don't want to sign up for the automatic shipment club, that you will pay $10 more for the special advertised on TV. It would be nice if they put that in small print somewhere.

I first tried the concealer first. I have skin with acne so I was anxious to give this a try. It covered the marks but it made my face look cakey. The make-up goes on lightweight which is nice but the problem is I have a lot of red spots to cover. It did not do well in covering those up. If you have perfect skin and don't have to cover up redness and/or acne then I can see how this product could be for you.

The mini compact they give for free with the product does come in a childlike-looking compact. I would have liked to see lipstick instead of lip gross and eye shadow instead of highlighter.

The brushes aren't the best quality that come with this kit. The shed easily .

Overall, this product is just okay. I am......

goofy1979 says "Easy and Quick cooking" about George Foreman G5 Indoor Electric Grill

This is a great product because you can cook meals in half the time. I actually use my convection oven less beacsue of this machine. It's nice to have fast food without having to leave the house. The plates are easier to clean than previous versions. I haven't had too many problems with food sticking but would suggest using a canola oil spray for certain recipes. This machine is pretty easy to use. You just preheat it to the proper temperature and put in the food and let it cook. My husband who doesn't cook could even do this! However, I wish there were more cookbooks available for the machine. I look online for recipe ideas. This machine would be better if there was a timer on it but I just use my kitchen timer instead. Also, there are not replacement plates available so make sure you take care of the ones you have. A rack to hold all of the plates that come with this machine would be nice because the extra plates take up a lot of space in my cupboard. Overall, I would say that this product......
