Oreck is very messy to clean, not as easy as depicted on TV. We have taken the machine to the Oreck store twice the 2nd time there were issues with the fan they said it was not under warranty unless we had purchased a higher model. We paid $250 each for 2 Oreck air purifiers we did not get what we expected for service at all. </p><p>Overall I am very disappointed at the machines performance and the warranty claimed to be so good by Oreck. It's a lot of $$ to pay for "clean air".</p>... About 3 months after heavy use the rinse cycle was not finishing the spin out so the clothes were wet when the cycle was finished. We called for service the repair man said that the filter was dirty with lint and hair (3 girls with long hair). The filter is not easily accessible, a repair man must come out and clean the filter. This is not feasible or logical from a heavy use standpoint.</p><p>The plastic fill tray for detergent, bleach and fabric softener is very flimsy and breaks easily.</p><p>Overall, after 1 year of use, we are not satisfied and are seeing continued degradation of the machine. GE does promptly come out and clean, however, it is very inconvenient.</p>...
