      <description>variety of scene modes...and their availability. On some cameras, the special scenes are hidden, and you have to dig through tons of menus to get to them. On this camera, though, there is a dial at the top of the camera which allows you to move quickly through them- and there is quite a variety! Auto (for the user who doesn't want to fuss with any control), Manual (for the user who wants to fuss with every control), indoor, kids and pets, landscape, and special scene (there may be a few others).&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Another great thing is the huge LCD...compared to my past cameras, it feels like you're looking at the real picture itself! The time it takes to take the first picture from when you turn it on is unbelievable fast. Another great little feature is that you can go straight into review mode from when the camera's off.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Another great thing- the 4x zoom! This (and the Face Detection) is the thing that really sets this camera apart- compared to a 3x, which is the standard on most cameras, it makes a really...... </description>
