I rescue all the giant breed dogs and I adore them all...my Newfoundland "HADES" is a big , black ball of fluff that is loyal, playful, funny and a best friend. His antics are comical and swimming with him is an adventure because he always wants to save me. They dont eat as much as people think..my babies are all fed holistic food, supplements and I also cook for them. I brush him every other day and he goes to the groomer every 6 weeks..they shed and they drool bur I wouldnt want it any other way!...

giantbreedmama says "This breed is amazing!" about Dog Breed American Pitt Bull Terrier

The American Pit Bull Terrier~pitty~pit or whatever other nickname. These dogs are so very sweet and loyal, they make wonderful pets whether you have children or not.

The nasty people that breed them to be mean and train them to fight are the animals~you can make any animal mean...not just the Pit Bull. Breed bans are horrible, people need to research the breed and the breeders before making a decision on a pit or any dog.

Give these babies a chance, get to know them and you will fall in love with them.
...

Jeffers Pet is a great pet supply catalog. They have beds, toys, supplements, food, leashes and collars~lots of great stuff at reasonable prices. I have personally ordered from them many times. The products ship quickly, arrive on time. The quality is good and the prices are good. With all the pets I have, plus the rescues Jeffers has saved me quite a bit of money over the retail stores.
...

Saving shelter pets was a definate good read! With providing rescue to animals I could greatly relate to the book. Everyone should read it, animal lover, rescue people, pet owners even people with no pets. The book hits home.

Many people who are not involved in the rescue world haveno idea what it is like out there for all the homeless animals. Education is the key and this book definately educates!
...

giantbreedmama says "GREAT FOR SMALL DOGS!" about Multipet International Multipet Chilly Bone Super Soft Canvas Small Dog Toy

The chilly Bone is great for small dogs, I would say 45 pounds and under from my experience. The puppies that I used them for it worked great along with the rescues that were not overly large or aggressive chewers.

I found that they did not last at all for Saint Bernard puppies, great dane puppies and Mastiff puppies, they tend to be aggressive chewers. Even with the largest size chilly bone, it only lasted 15 minutes or so,
...

giantbreedmama says "Great Odor Remover!" about Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover

Nature's Miracle Stain and Odor remover uses no harsh chemicals in their product. It is safe around pets and children. While having pets of my own and fostering for rescue there are times when they have accidents. Training a litter of 9 puppies can be a challange! You could walk into my home and never know how many animals are there. No stains, no odors! Just happy humans and pets!...

giantbreedmama says "AWESOME!" about Kuranda Dog Beds

The Kuranda Beds are the best. Being an owner of 6 giant breed dogs and rescuing and fostering many dogs of all sizes throughout the year, I have tried many beds~the ones that state they are chew proof to almost indestructable, non of them lasted~they were always shredded within a week.

Kuranda beds are comfortable and they allowairflow tohelp keep them cool in the summer. They are easy to clean and dry quickly.

I would suggest that anyone with a dog ,multiple dogs or rescues invest in the Kuranda Bed!
...
