gbmom says "For all you Tyler Perry fans.....here's a great one!!!" about Madea Goes To Jail

Tyler Perry is once again brilliant as "Madea", and this time she has been sent to the only place she can't talk her way out of......jail. This "gun-toting" grandma is at her funniest when she talks back to the judge one time and gets locked up. All I can say is that if you love Tyler Perry movies, you have got to see this one. —...

gbmom says "It couldn't be any easier than this" about Suncast Quick Edge

For less than 10 dollars you can put a nice edge on your flower beds . This one box contains 40 six inch pieces that interlock. All you need is a rubber mallet or gently use a hammer to put them into the ground. Just make sure there are no rocks in the way and you can have an edge in less than 30 minutes. They are made of hard plastic so they won't rust or disintegrate over time. You can bend and shape them to make curved borders. — I bought mine at Wal Mart. —...

gbmom says "Customer service is outstanding" about T-Mobile

I can not say enough great things about T Mobile customer service....that is the main reason I stay with this cell phone provider. Every problem (there have been only a few) has been handled in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. They will take as much time as needed to fix any problem you have and they geniunely care about their customers. — They have comparable rates, lots of phones to choose from.....some of them free with service.....and there are a lot of T Mobile stores around to purchase accessories. I would not change my service provider for any reason. —...

gbmom says "Great Magazine for DIY gardners" about Backyard

My mother got a free issue to this magazine and passed it on to me. I am now a subscriber. There are great stories from real people that have changed their "plain" back yard into such beautiful places. They have before and after pictures and explain what materials the land owners used and how they did it. — They often have contests where you can win lawn tools and equipment. What I like the best are the articles on do it yourself gardening. They inspired me to start a big garden of my own and it turned out great. — There are many "gardening" magazines out there....but this one is one of the best....with information you can understand, projects that are achievable and tips and secrets from other readers. — ...

gbmom says "I would not waste your money on this one" about George Foreman GRP4P Indoor Grill

I received my George Foreman grill as a gift and am now thankful that I did not throw my own money away. I have the large "family" size, and have only used it 3 times and put it away. — It is so big and bulky that I barely even got it into one of my kitchen cabinets. I had to turn it sideways to get it in my biggest cabinet. I have a lot of counter space in my kitchen but this thing never fit in anywhere. It stuck out like a sore thumb and took up so much room that I had to put it out of sight. — The other major drawback is that it is a pain to clean it. The grilling plates are not removable on this large one and therefore you are left to try and get it under the faucet without getting any electrical parts wet. And then I was never sure it was really clean to cook on again. It was so frustrating that I just put the thing away and it is still put up. — It would be a MUCH...

gbmom says "A great alternative to building/adding on a covered back porch" about Sun Setter Outdoor Awning

I am so glad I found this product. It has made our summers much more enjoyable. We live in Florida where the summer temperatures can reach a heat index of 118, and it is miserable. I have a very large back yard which my daughter and I enjoy being out in. But on some days it is so hot; especially around 2 or 3 in the afternoon, that we are miserable in the sun. — All I have to do is flip a switch and pull out the awning and we have instant shade. It feels like it is 15 to 20 degrees cooler. It can be adjusted to different heights. The supports can be set vertically on the floor, or angled back against the house. It has "locking" extension arms for durability. Can be attached to the floor of a deck or just extend from the wall of your home. — The advertisement says it installs in about 2 hours.......well, maybe if you had about 10 people helping you. My father and I...

This stuff is fantastic. You can use it as a marinade for seafood, chicken, steaks, pork chop and even vegetables. Can also be used as a dipping sauce (mix with a little Italian dressing), or added to water when boiling seafoods. I have even used it on top of some seafood...

If you are ever lucky enough to get to the north western panhandle of Florida, you must go to Pensacola Beach and visit Peg Leg Pete's....aka: Peg Legs. They have wonderful seafood ( I recommend the crab legs), great music, and even a playground area for the kids that is in view of parents. You can eat indoors or on one of there several outdoor (covered) porches. — They are right on the water so you can even arrive by boat for dinner. They even have complimentary wireless internet. —...

This is one of the best variations of cole slaw I have ever tried. All the ingredients are measured into a bowl in a certain order and then covered and refrigerated overnight. You mix them all together right before you eat it. It does contain cole slaw mix, but several other ingredients you would not expect.....such as toated almonds chopped up, ramen noodles, green onions, shelled sunflower seeds and a dressing that is fantastic. It is delicious!!! — And here is the receipe: — 2 (3-ounce) packages beef-flavored ramen noodle soup mix — 2 (8.5-ounce) packages slaw mix — 1 cup sliced almonds, toasted — 1 cup sunflower kernels — 1 bunch green onions, chopped — 1/2 cup sugar — 3/4 cup vegetale oil — 1/3 cup white vinegar — REMOVE flavor packets from soup mix, set aside; crush noodles. Place noodles in bottom of a large bowl. Topw with slaw mix;...

Plylox hurricane clips and plywood are the best way to protect your windows in the event of a hurricane. They install in seconds. They attach to a 1/2 sheet of plywood which is then inserted into the exterior casings of your home. There is no drilling involved. After using, they are easily removed in a few...

This movie features two actors that star together for the very first time since the movie Speed. Sandra Bullcok (one of my favorites) and Keanu Reeves. It is a unique love story that passes in an out of the present time. It all starts when Sandra Bullock moves out of her house and leaves a note for the next tennant, Keanu Reeves. They begin to write to each other and realize they were meant for each other, but yet, they live two years apart. — This is a movie I believe everyone will enjoy. I liked it so much I bought the DVD. —...
