garners898 says "Perfect for the make-up challenged, like me!!" about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Complexion Make-up

The perfect make-up for people like me! I have never been able to put make up on without the result looking somewhat clown-like. I can just never get it right.

Then my sister introduced me to bare minerals and my problems were over!! Just swirl, tap, buff!! That is it!! And from those three simple steps I get perfect coverage each and every time.

And check out this bonus...IT'S GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN!! Are you kidding me?? I will never go back to the old liquid way of doing things.

Although it is a bit pricier than my old brands (which could be found at any local drug store) bare minerals last a lot longer. They are totally worth the price! I suggest starting out with the beginners kit (about $60), it has everything you need to try it out.
...

garners898 says "Simple, Fun and Portable! This improved classic is still a hit!" about Graco Bumper Jumper Twi

If you have a baby who is part kangaroo, like mine, then the Graco Bumper Jumper is sure to please! This thing is entertainment for the entire family. When we put our 5 month old in it everyone gathers to watch and we all crack up laughing as he jumps and bounces all over.

This is a nice alternative to the large and bulky Jump-a-roos that are all the rage right now. The Bumper Jumper can be hung easily in seconds from any doorway (with a door frame) and taken down in seconds to be stored on a closet shelf or drawer. Very portable!!

The length of straps is adjustable to fit most doorways and longer-legged babies.

...

garners898 says "The BEST diaper pail! Simple and inexpensive. No STINK!" about Safety 1st Diaper Pail

This diaper pail may not look fancy, well that's because it's not. If you are looking for something that you have to bend down to use, or shove a dirty diaper into and then twist several times, this is NOT it!

Nope, this is a diaper pail of old days, before things like throwing away a dirty diaper became an event. All you do to operate the Safety 1st Pail is step on the foot pedal and toss the diaper in. No bending, no twisting. And even better...NO SPECIAL BAGS!! You can use an old grocery bag or a small trash bag (I recommend the latter b/c it is bigger and holds more stinky diapers).

How does it combat the smell, you ask?? Well, simple. In the lid of the pail there is a place that holds a stick-up (or something similar) air freshener. We have been using ours for 16 months now and I have had to change the stick-up twice!

Bottom line: Don't waste your money on fancy pails that will frustrate you and only cost you MORE money to buy bags to put in them. The Safety......

garners898 says "Over all a really great vacuum!!" about Dyson Vacuum - Upright All Floors Bagless Cyclonic Vacuum

Any vacuum that will suck the cheerios, I mean all of them, even the ones he has smashed into dust, off of my toddler's high chair is #1 in my book! Not to mention suck up everything in site off of any surface. I do not understand why people say the Dyson does not suck up pine needles??? It sucked up every one of mine. I do not find that it is easily clogged either. Ours has only become clogged one time and because the thing comes apart at every conceivable place it was easy to fix.

This is a must have vacuum for parents and pet owners. Totally worth the price. We have used and abused ours for about 2 years now and it is still kicking.

...

garners898 says "Simple high chair for those tired of all the unnecessary stuff!" about Ikea Antilop High Chair

For those tired of all the "extra stuff" coming with high chairs these days, the Atilop high chair from IKEA may be for you! It is nothing else but a high chair. It is small made of light weight white plastic. It can me used with the detachable tray or as a "booster" and slide right up to the table with the big folks. It has no plush cushions to clean, just wipe it down and it is ready to go again. The legs can be easily detached so you can take it with you (although it is not advertised as a "portable chair". And it has the necessary belt straps to keep the little squirmers in place.

IKEA does sell an "infant insert" for this chair, but to me it looks to be better suited for children who are already sitting independantly.

Bottom line: If simpllicity is your thing then run to your nearest IKEA and pick up the Antilop (did i mention it's only $18.99???). RUN!!!
...

garners898 says "Best baby carrier on the market!" about Ergo Baby Carrier

Without a doubt this really is the best baby carrier on the market. As a mom of 3 boys and one more on the way, I have tried about everything out there, nothing beats the Ergo! I can still carry my 4 year old on my back comfortably!

Built like your favorite backpack, this thing has clips in all the right places to take the strain off of your back. Suitable for newborns to toddlers!

My favorite position is the hip position. It is super easy to get my squirmy 15 month old into and out of. Plus it is so much more comfortable for the baby than slings and traditional back packs, as they sit on their bottom and do not have to straddle anything (putting pressure on the crotch area).

I can't say enough good things about the Ergo! With the handy pockets, clips and rings it can be a diaper bag that you wear AND carry your baby in! Just an awesome product!
...

garners898 says "Good, but there are better things out there now." about Maya Wrap Baby Sling

I bought the mayan wrap after I had my second son and loved it. Now we are expecting our fourth and though we still have the wrap tucked away in the closet, we rarely ever use it anymore. So many more practicle and handier things are on the market now for "wearing" your baby.

Also, I am 5' 7" and have a slighter frame and the mayan wrap never seemed to stay snug on me. I was constantly having to readjust as the rings would slide down. I have heard other tallish, thinish people complain of the same issue.

...
