frounfelter says "Great for long rides" about The Decemberists

With "The Craen Wife", The Decemberists have created a folk rock opera of sorts, telling the story of some very morbid occurances around the time of the civil war. The melodies are haunting to say the least, but the heavy emphasis on acoustics really brought this title to life for me. There are a few tunes that absolutely blew me away - I still can;t get The Crane Wife 3 out of my head. Admittidly, I am not a long time fan of the badn, this is the first album of theirs I have been exposed to. But I would chekc out more of their work and was impressed with the lyric poetry and melodies....

frounfelter says "Acoustic thrash - best of both worlds" about Rodrigo y Gabriella

Rodrigo y Gabriella show courage with their debut release "Rodrigo y Gabriella". Rodrigo comes from a thrash/speed metal background and takes his balzing heavy leads into the acustic realm with partner Gabriella. This CD offers covers of Orion (Metallica) and Stairway To Heaven (Led Zepplin) and includes a DVD of live performances fo tracjs on the cd. I can listen to the CD entirely, and prefer to do this while working or relaxing around the house. The group is tight and the fingerwork is fantastic, but in the end I kept hoping for something more. The cd feels like it needs some vocal work thrown in, and it is entirely instrumental. Their playing, in my opinion, begs to have some female vocals attached....

frounfelter says "Perfect printer for perfect prints" about Hewlett Packard hp photosmart A616

The Hewlett Packard photosmart A616 was a perfect purcahse for us. Photos transfer from variuos memory cards, or can be dowloaded via USB cable. LCD display on the printer allows for editing one the printer. Various layout selections allow for single prints or multiple print in a two-up, three-up, four up style. This printer runs smart and clean right out of the box. Very user friendly. Even my Mom - who is not the most tech savvy - is printing right from camera to printer and getting top quality prints on HP photo paper. The single ink cartridge last for at least 100 prints or more. I am very happy with this purchase and have recomended this to many friends....

frounfelter says "Great guitar - big sound" about Taylor Big Baby

The Taylor Big Baby is a great guitar for high quality at a reasonable price. The smaller scale still manages to feel like a full body guitar and the sound is crisp and clear even with slightly used strings. At first I enjoyed the smaller fret board, but sometimes I am playing and have to pick up my standard size guitar to get that open feel. The Baby Taylor feels and plays great. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at purchasing a high quality guitar and not interested in dropping $600 or so on the instrument. A great started guitar for someone who wants quality whole they get a feel for the guitar.
...

frounfelter says "Awesome quality for the price" about Nikon D40x Digital Camera

We purchased the Nikon DX40 bundle pack through a local warehouse store. This camera was ready to go right out of the box, taking amazing pictures with almost no initial learning curve. Camera captured quality images in outstanding resolution in various lighting conditions and settings. The manual is extensive, and more help/support is offered online. With some dedication, learning all of the capabilities of this camera should prove worthwhile. The camera body accepts many alternate lenses. We are looking forward to enhancing our extensive photo collection with these high quality images. The images transferred seamlessly to our laptop/desktop. Enhanced mode allows for editing photos directly on the cameras, the camera then saves a copy of the edited image so your original reaming untouched.
...
