I needed to buy something inexpensive at Sephora to meet the free shipping requirement, so I ordered a Sephora Flashy Liner Waterproof Eyeliner for $8.00. I don't have a need for a waterproof eyeliner, but it happened to be the cheapest they had in black.

I normally use Avon Ultra Luxury Eye Liners because they are inexpensive and work great. I have been using them for the past 12 years or so and never had a reason to even try another brand. That is, until now. My serendipitous, last-minute purchase of the Sephora Flashy Liner Waterproof Eyeliner is my new favorite eyeliner!

Sephora sells this eyeliner in a beautiful array of colors, but I chose black. What makes this eyeliner special, is that it is not only waterproof, but the color is supposed to be bold and metallic too. When I apply this eyeliner, it just glides on with no effort at all. There's no pulling or tugging! The black color isn't metallic, but it is a really bright, bold color of black. It's the blackest...

As a very special treat, I purchase a box of Pedigree Little Champions packets for my two dogs to share. My pups usually get dry food only, so giving them a combination of the wet food and dry food together was a big treat for them.

I absolutely LOVE the way Pedigree Little Champions comes packaged. In one box, you get several pouches of food. Each pouch is one serving. The serving is small - Only a little over five ounces. The pouches are lined up nice and neatly in the box, so you can keep them all stored in the box until they are gone. The pouches are very easy to open and the food, literally, slides right out. You don't have to get a spoon and dig it out, or bang on the bottom it to get the food out....it just slides right out. SO EASY! Since the servings are so small, I mix it in with the dry food and give it to my pups. THEY LOVE IT! I have never seen my dogs devour their food with such intensity. While out shopping, I was speaking to another shopper about how much I miss the Glade holiday scent, Glistening Snow. Discontinued this year, it was the only scent that I had ever found that smelled like Christmas. As we were talking, the woman happened to mention a product I had never heard of. ScentSicles. She informed me that ScentSicleswere sold at Walmart (where I happened to be) and worked really well in giving an authentic scent of pine.

I was able to located ScentSiclesscented ornaments in with the seasonal merchandise in Walmart. They were actually on an endcap all by themselves. There were only two packages left, and I bought the 'White Pine' scent. ScentSicles are green sticks that you hang directly on the Christmas tree. There were six ScentSiclesto a pack and each stick was about 5" in length. The top of each stick in capped with a silver area where you can insert a ornament hanger. Express' Editor Pants are the best fitting pants I've found yet! This style of pants from Express comes in short and tall lenghts as well as regular. I have a very hard time finding pants because I am 5 feet tall. I'm always wearing heels, but even most short lengths have to be hemmed. I need to look professional for work and Express' Editor pants are perfect for me. They come in a variety of colors and materials and I can always find them on sale online. I also appreciate how every pair I get in one size is the same. No more grabbing several items off the rack in the same size, only to discover some are larger or smaller than the others.

I've recently purchased their new cut of Editor Pant that comes with a wide waistband at the top. I bought this simply to switch up my wardrobe at least a tad, and I like these even better!! Our little Yorkie rescue is the best thing that has happened to us in years. [Our house was just too quiet since all of the kids have moved out.] We absolutely adore her and she loves us, however, we don't love her occasional bad breath! We tried several products in hopes of relieving the problem. Most of them helped a little but nothing took care of her canine halitosis completely. Quick View: I love Avalon Organics Lemon Clarifying Shampoo with Shea Butter and bought the conditioner to accompany it. This lemony conditioner adds moisture to dry hair yet keeps build up and weigh down away. My only small gripe is that it doesn't detangle as well as I would like but otherwise, my hair loves it.

My Take on Avalon Organics Lemon Clarifying Conditioner with Shea Butter & Babassu Oil

This 11 ounce bottle of white conditioner smells as great as the shampoo,. It has natural lemon extract and smells of fresh lemons. There are no parabens, petroleum-based ingredients, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfate, or other harsh preservatives or chemicals and no synthetic fragrances or colors, It is 100% vegetarian and cruelty free.

The conditioner is of medium consistency and comes out of the flip cap easily. I need quite a bit because my hair is very long but most people will only need a small amount to cover their hair. The scent is great and stays in my hair after drying which I love.

I have tried several Philosophy Lip Shines and loved them, including my absolute favorite, Spicy Pear Cobbler, so I decided to try a new flavor - Gingerbread. Unfortunately, I don't love it very much at all. It is still the same high-quality lip gloss I know and love, but you lost me on the scent.

Philosophy Gingerbread Lip Shine in the tube is a sparkly brown color, however, it is a sheer hint of brown with no sparkles when you apply it to your lips. It happens to be the perfect hint of color for my pale lips. When you remove the lid, it smells nice. I can pick up the scents of butter, cinnamon, ginger and a strong spice. When I apply it to my lips, the only thing I can smell is the overpowering scent of a strong spice and a little cinnamon. I don't know if it's ginger or what, but I'm not a fan of the scent outside of the tube at all.

I do like that this lip gloss wears for a long time, has a nice hint of color and gives my lips a luscious shine, but the scent is too...

I first saw Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Deoderant advertised in a magazine and thought it would be something I'd be into. On my next visit to Wal-Mart, with deoderant on my list, I saw this product next to my usual purchase. It happened to be on sale for cheaper than the Dove product I normally get, so I thought I would give it a shot. Supposedly, this product is supposed to (and I'm taking this right off the product!):

Minimize the appearance of hair over time by combining a unique anti-perspirant formula that contains Pro-Epil Complex along with Dove's 1/4 translucent moisturizer

From first use, it smoothes and conditions your underarm skin with a Nature Fresh scent.

Over time, your underarm hair will look and feel less noticeable

Feel stubble free for longer

The product did do the above things, however not as quickly as I would have expected. I suppose it does say it will minimize the appearance of hair over time, however I am pretty much at the end of my first stick...

I got excited a little while ago when I found a three-pack of Toby N.Y.C. Infant Mittens at Ross for only $2.99. At one dollar per pair of mittens, that's a bargain!

Each pair of mittens in the pack are a different color scheme. One pair are five-finger mittens and the other two pairs are the traditional mittens with a thumb in one part and four fingers in the other part. These mittens are made from: 86% acrylic, 13% polyester, and 1% spandex.

Although these mittens fit my son's hands pretty well, I wish the wrist part went up a little higher. When you put them on, it seems like you should be able to pull the mittens up more, but you can't. I guess that isn't exactly a problem, but an annoyance. Overall, Toby N.Y.C. Infant Mittens aren't a poor-quality product, but I don't feel there is anything special about them either. Since they were so inexpensive, I would probably buy them again.

Now, I am not one to shop with a credit card but my daughter kept telling me about the deals she would get by using her Kohl's card. I finally succumbed.

I must confess that I was not sold on the Kohl's store the first couple of times I shopped there. They don't have the brands I usually purchase so it took a while to convert me. The quality is not that great on most things but for some items quality doesn't matter. I have learned what I will buy there and what I will shy away from. They do have a liberal return policy and they will even let you pay the credit charge you just made at the same register! That's different. In fact, they are just so nice I find myself stopping by once in a while just to look around. I have found new brands to love and discovered some old favorites back in the housewares department.

Kohl's credit cards are a must if you shop at Kohl's. By using their card you are entitled to many discounts not available to the general public. Kohl's is one of the few stores...

I was lucky enough to purchase the Maybelline Superstay Color & Gloss for $1 in our local Dollar Tree Store. The color I purchased was Scarlet Spectacle,

This is so different, as it looks like a pen. It has a white middle, and the scarlet color one end and the clear gloss, the other end.

First you open the 'red' end and apply the lip color with the sponge applicator. The color has to be left on for 2 minutes so that it dries.

Once done you open the clear side, making sure that the clear end is at the bottom. This way the gloss doesn't run out. The brush was full of gloss so I carefully brushed it against the side of the tube, before applying it to my lips. I put it over the color.

Once done I carefully put the brush back into the bottom section and screwed it back on. I couldn't wait to check my lips in the mirror. They had good color and a great shine. Looking back at the packaging, I noticed that it stated '12 hour color power'. I figured that this would be a challenge for...

Jergen's Natural Glow, healthy complexion daily facial moisturizor does help alleviate my dry skin. It contains an SPF of 20 that protects against both UVA and UVB rays and this can help prevent pre-mature aging. It also claims to "gradually create a natural-looking color". I have tried the body lotion and did see a difference with that. I've been using the face moisturizor for months now and, while my skin is smooth & not dry, the color hasn't changed at all. I wasn't planning on seeing any drastic changes, but I can't say that I've seen any change.

I would recommend this as a facial moisturizer. It is very convenient to have the SPF built right in since no one should leave home without it anymore. It goes on really smooth and easily & does not have any strong odors to it, which is a relief. This product comes in a variety of sizes (and colors, so maybe that's my problem) and can be found at pretty much any store.

Lotrimin AF for Her is an antifungal cream for relieving the cracking, scaling, itching, and burning, that is associated with athlete's food.

Although it doesn't say anything on the box, it looks the same style as the Dr. Scholl's 'For Her' product line.

It comes in a tube with a net weight of 24 g (0.85 oz). Just unscrew the cap and then you are already to apply the cream.

First your feet should be washed and dried properly. Then apply the cream to the areas that are burning or itching. This can be done twice a day, for up to 4 weeks, or until the problem has been resolved.

As Lotrimin AF contains clotrimazole 1% be sure to wash your hands after using it and avoid the eye area.

Also be careful if children are around, or using it.

If the cream does not clear up the athlete's foot in 4 weeks, check with your doctor.

I get the itching and burning a couple of times a year, and find that Lotrimin AF, works just as good as any of the leading products, that claim to cure athlete's foot....

I bought Brut 24 hour protection with trimax, for my husband to see if it was any better than the Arrid XX, which we both tend to use.

We both love the Brut smell, and this anti-perspirant & deodorant is the original fragrance. It comes in a large green can, with a black top. The net weight is 6 ounce (170 grams), which is a good amount.

All you have to do is shake the can, have it about 6 inches away from the underarm area, and spray. It comes out in a liquid but turns into a powder on your skin.

I tried it myself to see how it worked, and I loved the silky powder feel of it. I then passed it over to Len, and he has been using it for two or three weeks. He says that it works good, but no better, than any of the other anti-perspirant/deodorants, he has in the bathroom.

I can tell you that it works, because all I can smell is the Brut fragrance, and no odor.

I believe I only paid a couple of bucks for this in one of the local drugstores. The normal retail price is between...

Even more than I like to cook Italian food, I love to eat it. Pastas and pasta sauces are among some of the best comfort foods in my opinion. I really like pesto, but haven't quite mastered making it from scratch with fresh ingredients, so that's where Kirkland Signature Cibo Naturals Fresh Basil Pesto comes in. It's a fresh pesto that is made with all natural ingredients. I bought it at Costco for around $10 for a large, 22 ounce container.

I love that this product is made with all natural ingredients, but I really love how good it tastes. It tastes really fresh! The blend of basil, garlic, parmesan cheese and olive oil is absolutely perfect. I have served it over ravioli and even used it as a dipping sauce for bread. This is definitely one of the best pestos I have ever had, if not the best.

Ingredients: fresh basil, extra-virgin olive oil, canola oil, non-GMO and rBGH-free parmesan cheese, pine nuts, fresh garlic, rice vinegar, salt and black pepper.

I was a bit skeptical after seeing the TV commercials that an over the counter product such as this would actually work. So I gave it a try and found that it does do what they say. It actually stopped my scalp from itching. The method to put the medication on is a bit difficult to do but once you get the hang of it it goes on smooth. It does burn a slight bit upon first applying but if you have an itchy scalp you will probably feel the same as I did- "at least its not itching". But it only burns for a sceond, then there is a nice cooling sensation and yay!!! no itch!!!

I have grown up to trust the Pond's brand name. My 70 year old grandmother has used their cold cream every day since it first came out. She is definatly a testamonial that it works, she looks more like she should be in her early 50s instead of having just celebrated her 70th birthday. So when I looked in the mirror to find my first wrinkle I went right to the Pond's product line. There, I decided upon Pond's Rejuveness cream. It is an anti-wrinkle cream that is to be used after washing your face morning and night. While I have not been using it long enough to know if it actually gets rid of wrinkles, I do know how great it feels and how fresh it smells. I use it 2x per day and actually look forward to putting it on. It has made my face and neck so soft feeling. Ususally these type of products are fragrance free, but this one has a very fresh, clean sent to it that I actually like.

Do you remember playing with paper dolls and changing their clothes? My daughter's have moved on to Melissa and Doug dolls, a twin set that gives them lots of clothes and accessories that are magnetic to dress their not so paper dolls. Since they had so much fun with dressing dolls that way, one friend purchased the Alex Tub Fashion set for them to use in the bathtub.

Bathtub time is a big deal at my house. It includes bubbles and playtime long before we get to the business at hand. My girls only a year apart are still where they like to do everything together which includes not using their own bathtub but using mom's instead so that they can have more space to be mermaids. Alex Tub Fashion toy was immediately sent to its room.

I was a little surprised with the girls were shopping for their birthday gift and they actually chose the Fisher-Price Suds and Surprise Dora. It didn't seem all that exciting to me but the price was right (on sale for $14.99) so I thought if they really want it that bad, sure let's give it a try.

The Fisher-Price Suds and Surprise Dora is a Dora doll that sits on a "tray' that is attached to the side of your bathtub and is removable. Dora's "head" is like those dolls that you can do their hair and put make up on their faces. The Dora head has longer hair than in the cartoon and when wet with cold or hot water it changes color adding stripes. It comes with a little bucket to pour water out and a sponge which causes tattoos to appear on Dora's face when used.

What I like about the Fisher-Price Suds and Surprise Dora
