Postman is a very very long movie that Costner directed himself. You'd think after Waterworld he would stay away from these post-apocalypse tales.. but no.. In this lousy film he's a survivor who passes himself off as a postman in order to give hope to the ravaged communities left alive in the world. Why didn't he give hope to movie audiences and not make this movie? Story has it, the project was falling apart until he signed onto it originally just to act in it, but then he took on directing the movie. Let's assume Costner had the best of intentions. ...

In looking at the cover of this DVD, I thought this would be a rather easy block to create. Once into the video, I discovered that there were so many things to have to do to create the two blocks that I most likely would never do it.

Yes, there are only two blocks and two shapes to create the blocks so you would think that it would be an easy one to make. After listening and finding out that you had to pick 12 groups of colors and then sort that into groups and resort yet again. I think I will take the idea and create my own block rather than trying to follow all the sort/group details the author does. No, my quilt won't look like hers but the idea will be there

Also, the directions for cutting the wedge pieces were detailed and a swatch sheet was needed to keep track of what went where. And when sewing, there was yet another regrouping to be done so that each block didn't come up the same color. By this time, I was exhausted.

I love all things with a citrus scent, so when I placed my first order at Yves Rocher a couple months ago, I definitely had to add Yves Rocher Florida Orange Shower Gel to my order.

Yves Rocher describes this product as: "Florida oranges are renowned for their sweet, abundant juice. This delightful gel forms a lush lather, bursting with the energizing freshness of sunkissed oranges."

What I like about Yves Rocher Florida Orange Shower Gel is the amazing scent. It smells just like freshly cut juicy oranges mixed with orange candy. If you like citrus scents, or orange in particular, you would love the way this smells! What I don't like about this product is the fact that it is made with not-so-great ingredients. The Yves Rocher website does not include an ingredients list for their products, so when I purchased this, I had no idea what was in it.

It does lather nicely in the shower and it smells amazing, but I would not have bought it had I known what it was made out of. ...

I am doing a 12-week weight loss program sponsored by Herbalife. When I enrolled I didn't know that they were sponsoring it. I have bought quite a few of their products. The first one I bought was the Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix. It is for "healthy nutrition and weight management".

The flavor I chose is french vanilla, which is delicious. I add soy or almond mix to two scoops and ice cubes and have a yummy snack. The program suggests that we have one or two shakes a day. I normally have one and stick to the amount of calories per day I should eat.

I paid about $35.00 for a 26.5 ounce canister. This makes 30 servings per container.

It has 19 essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients; however, you will get these in a multi-vitamin. For example, you'll get 35% of Vitamin A when you add milk and 50% of Vitamin D, which you will get if you go outside for 15 minutes a day. Yes I am skeptical because I haven't seen results and I think it is over priced.

I wasn't much of a flosser before I found Oral-B EssentialFloss Waxed Dental Floss. I was anal about brushing my teeth, but flossing was so laborous and just felt like a chore. Since I found this Oral-B dental floss, flossing is so easy, I really don't mind it anymore.

Oral-B EssentialFloss Waxed Dental Floss is kind of flat like dental tape, but not very wide, so the width is similar to traditional dental floss. It has a wax coating and a "shred-resistant texture". I love this product because of how easily it glides between my teeth. It even gets in between my molars in the back of my mouth in a cinch, and they are usually hard to floss. Like the packaging says this floss really is shred-resistant. It has never shredded since I started using it. Oral-B EssentialFloss Waxed Dental Floss comes in two flavors: regular and mint. I buy mint because I love the mintiness that it leaves in my mouth afterwards, it just feels refreshing.

Welcome to Part 11 of my round up of some of the Worst Films ever made. These are not the kind of bad films that are fun to watch. These are just terrible films possessing such little entertainment that in my opinion they are to be avoided.

There are so many better choices out there, I hope you’ll be able to avoid the movies I’ve listed here and you gain from my pain and suffering, avoiding the agony of wasted time for little to no reward. Most of these movies I saw in movie theaters sometimes at screenings or I watched them as part of an assignment for an article or essay or larger review I was working on. Most of these are not direct to video type movies. There have been some very good direct to video movies, but the percentage of good ones to worthwhile ones is pretty low; a little bit of research and you should be able to spare yourself disappointment.

Quick View: e.l.f.'s studio line is a little pricier than their dollar cosmetics but by only a couple of bucks. This dual use product is just $3.00 and works fairly well. I don't love the nude color of the lip primer though. It is a bit chalky looking.

My Take on e.l.f. Studio Lip Primer & Plumper

This little stick costs $3.00. One one side is a natural/nude lip primer that you apply before using lip color to help make the color cling and last and to fill in little lip lines. On the other side is the nearly clear plumper than can be worn over the primer, alone, or over lip colors.

The plumper has cinnamon in it which boosts circulation, giving lips a temporary look of fullness and a flush of color. I like the cinnamon scent and taste and don't mind the slight burning sensation I get when I use the plumper. It's very common for plumpers and this one isn't nearly as bad as many other plumpers.

I eat a lot of frozen entrees for my lunch and feel like I eat the same ones over and over again, so I recently bought a new one - Lean Cuisine Shrimp & Angel Hair Pasta. I love pasta and I love it when there is seafood in my pasta, so this meal seemed perfect. It didn't meet my expectations, but it isn't horrible either.

Lean Cuisine Shrimp & Angel Hair Pasta contains spaghetti (not angel hair as the title implies), shrimp, red bell pepper and carrots in a "creamy seafood sauce".

What I do like about this entree is that it has above average sized shrimp in it for a frozen meal. Usually, the shrimp in these kinds of frozen entrees are those tiny, bay shrimp. The shrimp in this meal are much bigger and more substantial. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I have to say about Lean Cuisine Shrimp & Angel Hair Pasta. The sauce is horrible. To the Point

The problem isn't new but the technology to fix it seems to be new - at least new to us. The problem was that our house has an open floor plan meaning my husband's office and our living room are connected. I got used to reading the closed caption wording but sometimes my reading was slower than the words on the screen.

In comes wireless headphones. I tried out a pair of Radio Shack brand headphones at our daughter and son-in-law's but my husband ended up buying me the Sony Infrared Cordless Headphones MDR-IF240RK.

I keep it simple when it comes to caring for my skin and using makeup. I admit that while I am willing to pay more for skin care products like cleanser and moisturizer I usually skimp of make up products. After all, all I wear on a regular basis is foundation, lipstick and mascara. and in the summer I don't even do all that. I have full cupid bow lips anyway, so usually don't even bother with lip liner but my friendly neighbor (and Mary Kay consultant) reminded me that I would have to buy long wearing lipstick that can dry my lips out if I would add a lip liner to my make up routine. BIGELOW Pumpkin Spice Autumn Spiced Tea comes in a box of 20 which are each individuallly wrapped in orange foillike paper. Black tea, cinnamon, licorice root, clove, and ginger all make this smell heavenly as it is steeping. Blended and packaged in the U.S. A.; this tea is gluten free. I have a special bread mix I ordered through Amazon.com and I intend to add this tea at room temperature where the recipe calls for warm water. My eighteen year old daughter and my eight year old daughter both drank this tea today hot with ice cubes added because they couldn't wait for it to cool down.

My seventeen year old son who loves green teas is unusually disgusted and says it tastes terrible. He doesn't like pumpkin cheesecake, either so I would not even mention it except maybe you the reader of my survey may have a son JUST LIKE MINE... If so, I wanted to be fair and warn you. CLAIRE'S EAR CARE ANTISEPTIC was given when my eight year old daughter Aimee had her ears pierced in August. My daughter Stacy had her ears pierced at a different store in the same mall when she was three years younger than this daughter is now and every thing went wrong. The bottle I was given lasted a little over a week and I was told to use rubbing alcohol or peroxide.

Not so this time at Claire's. The form had over 12 places where I had to hear something and then sign my name or initials. This huge fuschia and white bottle is about 4 times the size of what I had over a decade ago with my first daughter. We use it three times a day and she is still wearing the same earrings over two months later. With fuschia on the bottle and it's size, it was easier to remember it. With my paranoia after my other daughter's repeated nasty swellings and infections, it was unlikely I would forget anyways but I do have five children. I really do try to find greener products to use in both my home and for my health. Unfortunately sometimes when i try a new product it's not very good for me and that was the case with something I borrowed from a friend since I had no moisturizer. It stung when I put it on, and continued to sting and get worse throughout the day. Stopping at the Lancome counter to do my gift with purchase the sales lady cleaned my skin and recommended Lancome's AQUA FUSION CREAM for my skin. I had tried a sample before and liked it but needed to finish my other products before making any other purchases. However this was an emergency, red angry looking splotches had made their way to my face.

First she cleaned my skin and then added a sample of Aqua Fusion Cream Continuous Infusing Moisturizer. My skin actually said, "Ahhh" in relief. I had actually already purchased this but they were nice enough to fix my red skin before I left the counter. Within about 30 minutes my skin was looking much better...

Angela LaFon's review reminded me of all the fun my little brother used to have with the Milton Bradley Barrel of Monkeys, and I remember my son playing with them much like she describes in her review. But my two girls were just not interested in the barrel, the monkeys, the linking, or the swinging.

Milton Bradley Barrel of Monkeys are cute and I agree with other reviewers that a bigger barrel and more variety in colors is needed. Who knows maybe then my girls would play with it. But when offered this toy, my girls shrugged their shoulders, walked away and went on to play another game, any other game. Rainy day at the beach and on vacation it's time to get a little creative to keep the kids entertained but since it's day two I don't want to break the bank quite yet. Roaming the aisles at the grocery store the toy section the game Milton Bradley Don't Break the Ice Game is on sale for $5.00! I remember this game from when I was a kid. My brother loved this game! My husband loved this game when he was a kid! Sold!

Milton Bradley Don't Break the Ice Game comes home and the game is quickly set up. We don't even need batteries! Within minutes, my daughter giggles and squeals, "I won! You broke the ice daddy!" After about 5 quick games she decided to take a break and hit the Barbie Princess coloring book we also bought (1.00) and I am relieved that my daughter loves this game, since she also says, "Can we play again later?"

The Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Coffeemaker CG13 is about as basic as it gets. I admit, I am not much of a coffee drinker and when I do drink coffee I usually like the flavored ones, heavy on the cream and sugar (ok milk and sugar substitute now). Anyway, recently I needed the extra morning jolt of caffeine that coffee can bring and pulled out this coffee maker. I only wanted to make about 5 cups or so, thinking that my husband would want to drink some too since I was actually making it.

Using the Mr. Coffee 12 Cup Coffeemaker CG13 is easy and I do like that there is only one lid I need to flip to fill both the coffee and water filters. The coffee was ok, once I turned it into something that most coffee drinkers would scoff at. It was easy to clean out the pot afterwards and there was no spilling over during brewing. There is a side measure to double check the water amount and an extension cord with storage room in the back when not in use.

But what I didn't like about the Mr. Coffee...

One quilt from seven blocks and flowers that never die is what you will get in FLOWER POTS. Using these blocks, you can create the quilt that Ms. Lammon intended. Or you can be even more creative and make a combination of your own with one, two or three (or more!) of the blocks.

Six pages of basic instructions begin FLOWER POTS. Things like pressing, folded triangles and ways to do appliqué are found here. The pattern begins with a materials list that will create the whole quilt. Each block pattern gives the cutting list for that block along with a finished photo of the block.

Instructions on how to put the block together follow with large, easy to follow graphics. The assembly of the quilt has its own cutting list and how to assemble each row. The final pages provide all the templates needed to create your flower blocks and even better, they are full sized so no need to enlarge them. The final page is a short bio of Ms. Lammon.
