frankob23 says "I laughed until my sides hurt." about The Heartbreak Kid

Oh MY Gosh... This movie was hilarious.

I have to admit, it started very slowly and I have to say, I was a bit uninterested. I am an avid movie watcher and love movies of all types. However, there has to be something to grab my attention or I tend to get bored.

It was about 20 minutes into the movie that I really got into it and it was at that time that it became very funny to me. It's not intended for younger audiences but it's a great movie for adults or maybe even for a date. It's an instant classic romantic comedy that stars Ben Stiller and his father, Jerry Stiller. They play off each other wonderfully.

Boy meets girl, boy marries girl, boy falls in love with a different girl. There are many twists and turns in this movie but I thoroughly enjoyed following them all and laughing until my sides ached!
...

frankob23 says "The books I read as a child are brought to life beautifully." about The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

I was very excited when I hard that The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.L.Lewis was being brought to the big screen. As a child I borrowed these books from the library so much they were almost my own. As an adult, I purchased my own set and have reread them several times. I was very impressed with the first film and even more so with the second edition to this franchise, The Chronicles of Narnia : Prince Caspian.

I am very happy to say that the movies have stayed very close to the storylines portrayed in the books. It's hard to find a series like that anymore. The animation and graphics were stunning.

I like a good action movie and this film is action packed, with sword fights, battles, adventure, and fun. It's a great movie for children who didn't grow up with this series and even better for those of us that did and wish to take a stroll down memory lane.
...

frankob23 says "The longest lasting burner I have ever used in my PC." about Lite On DVD/RW Dual Layer Burner with Light Scribe

I purchased my Lite On Dvd Writer at Walmart for a fairly reasonable price. It has been about 3 years since this purchase so of course there are faster writers on the market today. However, I have had nothing but the best service from this writer.

It is dual layer compatable which is a huge plus. The blank, dual sided, discs are rather pricey still but it's worth it as you can burn twice the amount of data on one disc.

Recently I had a small problem with a disc I was using. It was sent to me in the mail with a product I purchased over eBay. It came damaged, with a small crack at the outer edge of the disc. I was very cautious about trying to use it at all but the disc contained the drivers for the hardware that I purchase. I gave it a shot and to my surprise the Lite On Dvd Writer was actually able to read the disc.

However, I soon had a larger problem. While playing back the disc I hear a loud bang inside my tower and I thought for sure I had blown a cylinder on my mother board or one...
...

frankob23 says "I gave up on Uniden when these phones were outperformed." about Uniden - DXI4286-2 2.4 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone

I purchased the twin line Uniden cordless phone bundle about a year ago. I finally just sold them in a garage sale.

I had many problems with this phone model. It came with two phones, one that plugged directly into my broadband modem and the other that didn't require direct access to the phone line. I received very poor reception on both phones, having to sit completely still while on them or I couldn't tell what the other person was saying through the static. I had trouble with the transfer button that let's you transfer a call from one handset to the other. Usually it just hung up on the caller. There were issues with the volume levels as well. One caller would be super quiet while the next would be too loud to stand.

I am unaware if there was a defect in the phones that I purchased or not but I couldn't stand the issues I put up with daily from them. That's why I sold them. I purchased a Bell phone from Walmart about a week ago and am much happier with it.
...

frankob23 says "Compact mp3 player, Zen Stone, great value for great quality." about Creative Technology - ZEN stone (1 GB) MP3 Player

I have owned my Zen Stone MP3 Player for a couple of months now.

It is very lightweight and I use it daily when walking to or from work or when I am working out at home. It has 1Gigabyte of memory so I am sure to never run out of space. I try to update my songlist as often as possible as I am always buying new music.

It features a power indication light that blinks different colors for different things. See description below:

Green, slow blink - Fully Charged

Green, fast blink - Battery is running low

Orange, fast blink - Batter is almost depleted

Red, fast blink - Maximum Volume has been reached.

It has a pretty superior sound to many mp3 players I have owned in the past, with a great bass level that is hard to achieve in headphones. It also features a shuffle, repeat, or play option. It can be charged with the cord that comes with it that plugs into a 110V wall socket, or by plugging it into a usb port on your computer (USB cable sold seperately).

I also bought an armband that came with...
...

frankob23 says "Samsung's SCH-U740 is the second best cell phone I've ever had." about Samsung - SCH-u740 Black Cell Phone

I have had the Samsung SCH-U740 cell phone for a little over eight months and I have loved every minute of it. It opens two ways, the standard flip phone vertical view, and the somewhat newer idea of opening horizontally also. When opened horizontally it is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard. The buttons are a bit small for guys like me with bigger fingers, but over time I have become very accustomed to it as I am an avid texter.

The phone is pretty durable. I have dropped mine a few times, actually stepped on it in my bedroom, and spilled a small amount of water on it. None of these things damaged the phone at all. I was very impressed with that, as you can see, I am pretty rough with my cell. I do have some minor scratches on the front window but it comes with a plastic screen guard that I removed.

Features include a 2 megapixel camera that is able to take pictures and video, a flash for darker settings, an expandable memory slot for micro SD ram cards, vcast compatable for verizon...
...
