forhym216 says "A place I love to hate - very low prices, but no variety." about Walmart.com

Walmart is one of those places I love to hate. They save me tons of money because their prices are way lower than anywhere else around my city, and I like being able to get everything in one store (food, automotive, drugstore, sewing, etc.). — — However, they are sadly lacking in variety - they carry only a few types of things in certain brands, and I often find myself having to branch out to other stores to find unique foods. Also, they will carry products for a few weeks, then suddenly completely stop carrying them for no apparent reason. They don't carry alot of quality foods, and the produce is hit and miss at best. — — Also, I know Walmart does not treat its employees very well, but they save me so darn much money that I keep shopping there anyway. —...

forhym216 says "One stop shopping for hard to find health needs, but pricey." about Drugstore.com

Drugstore.com is GREAT for hard to find health products. I have found many things online that I can't find in my local stores - I also like being able to read reviews of products before I buy. However, I find that their prices are sometimes a bit high. Checkout is fickle, too. It will tell you you got free shipping, then it won't show up on the checkout (or it will show up on one step and not the...

forhym216 says "The place that has everything!" about Amazon.com

Amazon.com has absolutely everything it seems. They are the first place I look for almost any product I am searching for online. Sometimes their prices are a little high, and returns are a pain, but overall, Amazon is great. I also sell used books on the Amazon Marketplace, which has made me tons of cash for my old college...

forhym216 says "Free shipping both ways - what more could you want?" about Zappos.com

I love Zappos.com. I have problems with my feet, so I am constantly searching for shoes. Zappos free returns has allowed me to try dozens of shoes risk free. Also, they credit returns very quickly - other places often take weeks, but their credit take just days after receiving the product. Their prices are a bit high on things, so I will often try something from Zappos, then return it and buy it somewhere cheaper (like Ebay). Overall, though, Zappos has been a lifesaver for me and problem...

Benefiber is great. It is has absolutely no taste and dissolves easily in pasta sauce, drinks, etc. If you don't know it is there, you will not be able to tell in any way. My husband swears by it - what a great, easy way to get your fiber without all the...

forhym216 says "The most addictive game ever!" about Bejeweled 2 for Windows

Bejeweled 2 is a great game. Beware: it is VERY addictive. I like the variety of game play options (puzzle, timed, endless, or traditional), plus the changes of scenary. Also, there are now options like power gems that were not in the first Bejeweled. The concept is simple enough for everyone to understand and you will find yourself passing alot of time with this game (good for snowy winter...

forhym216 says "Great - holds over 700 pictures on medium quality!" about SanDisk (SDKSDSDB1024) (1 GB) SD Card

I got this to use in my digital camera. On medium quality, I can take over 700 pictures. Best Christmas gift I got last year! I really like that is comes with a case to protect it so that I can switch between this and the original memory card for my camera. I thought about getting a new camera, and am glad I did this first - I couldn't be...

forhym216 says "Great bang for the buck - buy this rather than an iPod!" about SanDisk - e280 8GB MP3 Player

I couldn't be happier with my Sansa e280. It holds 8GB - I still haven't even come close to filling it up. It is very easy to use. I bought the Griffin iTrip and use it in my car mostly. Beats carrying CDs any day! I chose this over an iPod because you get the same GB for much less money. Also, the e280 offers an expansion slot and the ability to change the batteries yourself (unlike iPod). The only way it suffers compared to iPod is that there aren't as many accessories, but it has everything I...

This is a great car for the money. I get 26 miles per gallon, and I love the way it handles - not like a "tin can" like so many smaller cars. My Focus is now at 106,000 miles and starting to have small things going wrong with it, so I plan to trade it in soon. I would take another one just like...

forhym216 says "HUGE dryer gets the job done" about Whirlpool WED6400S Electric Dryer

If you are looking for a great, huge dryer, this is the one for you. It can dry small loads in as little as 20 minutes. Be aware, however, that if you stuff it full with as much as you can, it can take up to 2 hours, despite what the timer tells you at the beginning of the cycle. The timer often gets "stuck" on a certain number count for a long time, so you really don't know when it will be done. The complaints I have with this dryer is that is really twists up pants legs on jeans and cords. Also, it tends to ball up sheets and blankets and when the senor says it is dry, the middle is often still damp (you just have to re-arrange the sheets/blanket and start it up again). Overall, I am very happy with this...
