fnmmommy says "Signing time is fun, educational programming." about Signing Time!

When my daughter began signing at home, I asked her babysitter if they had been learning it at her house. She said that they watched Signing Time on PBS each day. I was curious, so I caught an episode one morning. What fun it is! Kids learn so well when they are taught through song. I even learned a few signs from my first experience with the show. This is such a valuable tool for learning.
...

fnmmommy says "Cameron Park Zoo is fun weekend escape." about Cameron Park Zoo - - Waco, TX

I've been visiting the Cameron Park Zoo for at least the past 12 years. My kids love to go walk around, and we all really enjoy the animals. We try to avoid it on warm days because it feels 10 degrees warmer when you're inside the zoo. The animal habitats are great, because you can get so close to the animals. We've had great fun there, and plan to go back many more times.
The only problem I've had with the zoo is customer service. I tried to book a birthday party once, and the woman in charge of that was quite rude. Needless to say, we haven't had any parties there. Anytime I've had to deal with anyone other than the ticket booth or gift shop people, I've been disappointed with their basic customer service skills.
...

fnmmommy says "Baby Trend Sit N Stand stroller - If you don't have one, get one" about Baby Trend Sit N Stand LX Stroller

When my husband and I started stroller shopping as we prepared for the birth of our second child, we looked at them all. What is easy to push, turns well, is attractive, durable, etc? Then one day as I was shopping at Target, I saw it. The Baby Trend Sit N Stand stroller. It was perfect. Our daughter, who was about 3 1/2, at the time would have a place to ride also! I went back with my husband and we tried it out. Folding, unfolding, turning in tight places, the works! We loved it! Now my son is 17 months and my daughter is 5. Even though she's over the weight limit, we can still push it comfortably and take it everywhere we go. I couldn't have found a better stroller to fit our needs....
