flowerchild123 says "Great modern design crib, no frills, clean lines." about IKEA Hermelin crib

We looked EVERYWHERE (okay, a little exaggeration) when selecting a crib for our baby. Lucky for us there's an IKEA in town and, although they only had a few to chooses from, we found the Heremlin crib, which we bought and have loved ever since. We like clean lines and this one fits the bill. There are no scrolls, flowers, or ornamental details on the crib or the legs, and we really like that. The color is blue, which may be a turn-off for some parents, but it fit our decor perfectly. And it went together quite simply, as all IKEA products we've purchased do. We are pleased with the quality and like that it wil convert to a toddler bed later. And at only $129, we are satisfied with the price...especially because several of the other modern-looking cribs are several hundred dollars. IKEA fits our lifestyle and our design style, so this was a perfect fit for us. The only downside that we've found is availability in the store, which is happens on occasion at IKEA. We made the drive twice to...
...

flowerchild123 says "Strong, sturdy, portable, high quality stroller" about Maclaren Quest Stroller

The Maclaren Quest Stroller is a great stroller! We did a lot of research before buying this stroller. We compared several of the other higher-end stroller brands (Peg Perego, Bumbleride, Bugaboo) and realized this would be the best value for us. The things we considered when making a decisions included: portability (I didn't want to struggle with a giant stroller that weighed almost as much as I do when loading/unloading it into the car); length of time our child could use it (I couldn't see spending a few hundred dollars on something that wouldn't last more than several months); safety (need I say more?); appearance (I don't like the look of some of the European strollers out there right now; they look like those carts you rent at the airport to lug your bags around); and value (okay, I seriously cannot afford $700 on a stroller). We found that the Maclaran fits our needs best. A bonus: I love the look of this stroller. We have taken it on dirt trails at state parks (even though it's...
...

flowerchild123 says "Great multi-function printer" about Epson WorkForce 600 All-In-One InkJet Printer

The Epson Workforce 600 is an attractive, sleek-looking printer that handles your printing/faxing/scanning/copying/photo needs. Use the wireless option to hook it up so all computers in your house can use it and you've got a hard-working printer that everyone can enjoy. The ink cartriges are about $15-$19 each depending on where you get them and they take the usual C-M-Y-K. The thing I like best about this printer is that it prints/copies at an amazingly fast speed. After using Brother MFC for several years, the Epson is so much faster! Good quality printingn for photos, too. Overall I really like this printer and recommend it to family and friends.
...

flowerchild123 says "Bum Genius All-In-One cloth diapers...why we love them." about Bum Genius 2.0 Diapers

Bum Genius All-In-Ones have far exceeded our expectations of cloth diapering. Our family strives to make good decisions that will positively affect the environment. We understand not everyone can afford to spend $17 for each diaper...but if you figure the cost of disposables, it comes to about 1-1.5 bags of disposables for each cloth diaper and these diapers last for a LONG time! Consider registering for them for your baby shower...they will save you money in the long run. We have 15 Bum Genius All-In-Ones and wash them daily. We've used them for almost a year now and they are holding up GREAT to daily washing/drying. Other pluses: they cut down on the amount of trash we have, so we never have to pay the extra $1.00 per garage bag that our city would charge us for excess garbage bags. We have never had a problem with diaper rash with our baby because the cloth liners absorb the wetness so well (=no expenses of diaper creams). We don't have to deal with those gross 'pellets' that ooze out...
...
