Crime and Punishment is set in the dry and crowded city of St. Petersburg, Russia. The main character is young Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov who was studying at the university until his money ran out. You will meet many characters and go through two murders as you see how one character goes through madness as the murder takes its toll on the mind.

Not an easy read and hard to understand because each character has up to 3 names. After reading a book like this makes you wonder how books become of classic status.

Valkyrie is a story about a few high ranking Germans who were tired of what their Germany had become. They were sick of the young German boys who would never come back home and the mass killing of Jews, but most of all they wanted the führer Adolf Hitler dead. They were tired to the war and death and choose to risk all to initiate Valkyrie. Valkyrie was what they planned to use against Hitler to take over Berlin and then surrender to the allies.

Valkyrie is a true story that shows that not all Germans were proud of their country.

When The Wind Blows is a quick moving novel by James Patterson. You go through the lives of three characters, Frannie, Kit, and Max. Each character each has their own problems that end up getting others involved.

From the start to the end James Patterson creates a novel that is hard to put down. He also creates an experiment that is hard to grasp. Not for those who can not believe fiction even though one day the impossible might turn into possibility.

I'm a runner who had a lot of problems with Achilles tendonitis. I had tried other products and nothing worked. I was sick of the pain and wanted to get rid of it. I knew that Achilles tendonitis was an injury that was known to take a long time to go away.

I saw an ad in a runner's magazine for The Strassburg Sock and decided to try it. The sock is expensive selling anywhere from $30-$40. Even though It is expensive, it is totally worth the cost because it really speeds up recovery. When I first bought it, I thought it would hinder my sleeping, but did not hurt it one bit.

The Strassburg Sock helped reduce my pain and I'm able to run again.

Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz is the sixth novel in the Alex Rider series. It picks up right after the ending events of Scorpia.

This novel like all the books in the Alex Rider series are fast moving and a easy read. They are quite hard to put down, due to the fact that you never know what will happen next.

Ark Angel starts with Alex Rider recovering in the hospital from the sniper's bullet that he received at the end of Scorpia. What appears to be a boring stay of R&R turns for the worst, when 4 men try to kidnap the patient in the room next to Alex. Alex again is thrown into the life he doesn't want.

Ark Angel is another good read by Anthony Horowitz. I would recommend this book only if you have read this series in order. The Alex Rider series is a well written series that will keep you on your toes.

The Cider House Rules is a movie that shows the true side of what happens to children left at an orphanage. The movie goes through the life of Homer Wells (Tobey Maguire) who is a orphan himself. As the years progress the doctor of the orphanage Dr. Wilbur Larch (Michael Caine) teaches Homer all about being a doctor with the hope that Homer will take over the orphanage when the medical board decides to replace him.

Even though Homer loves the orphanage he feels drawn to the outside world when a young couple tells him what he is missing.

This is a touching movie that shows the sad story of children who desperately want a family.

I'm a member of many survey sites and have gotten tired of bad sites. Sites that claim big money, but never shows fruit. I have joined many sites looking for one that I can call a home. I have finally found it at TreasureTrooper.

There are many ways to make money at TreasureTrooper. You can taker surveys, sign up for offers, get referrals, and do cash shopping. You can take 2 surveys a day with the first one paying .75 and the second $1. The offers you sign up for pay anywhere from .40 to $35. You get money back for shopping at certain sites. There are 289 to shop at.

What TreasureTrooper does differently than other sites is after you complete offers you get gold coins and you get paid money. These gold coins can be used the in Jungle Slots, which can win you money and other prizes. Also by completing offers and cash shopping you can also get other items like platinum coins which can allow you to get referrals or can be used for Amazon gift cards.

There are many sites that say you can make hundreds of dollars an hour taking surveys. After being a survey taker for a long time I know that is not true. You can find survey sites that pay good money. All you need is to know where to look.

What you need to do to find sites that pay cash and not contest entries is read the details. When I'm thinking about joining a new survey site I will always read the FAQ and how the company works. Always read these to find out what the company does and how they pay you. Never join a site that makes you pay to join. These are usually scams.

I have found a bunch of survey sites that actually pay you. I have found these by going to survey police and paid survey guide, which rank survey sites. I then go to the survey company site and see if they pay in cash, with contest entries, or gift cards. I will only join survey sites that pay me with cash or in my PayPal account.

I wanted to get a credit card so I could buy a bunch of stuff off the internet and not worry about identity theft. When I saw that CVS had a sale on Green Dot Prepaid MasterCard's I jumped for the chance. I guessed to put money on the card it would only cost $4.95. Boy was I wrong. It costs $9.95 just to activate. After putting money on my card I expected to go home with it. Nope wrong again. I had to go home, and get on the phone to activate it. On the phone I could barely understand the Green Dot lady because of her accent. It took 8 days to arrive. So far I'm pleased with it, but wouldn't do business with Green Dot again and would not recommend it. If you do want to buy one buy it at the beginning of the month because you will have longer to spend it before the monthly fee.

On July 15, 2009 Green Dot got rid of the policy of charging for phone calls asking for your balance. They then raised the monthly fee to $5.95.

Judy's book is a web site where you write reviews about businesses. You write a review about a certain business and you rate it. You can also give the address and the review will show on goggle maps when someone clicks on the business.

I have been a member of your 2 cents for more than 5 months now. The surveys you take are not very long and you always get paid right after you take them. If you don't qualify for a survey you still get a raffle entry for a $5,000 drawing.
Some things that I don't like about you cents is you don't get many surveys to take. On average you get around 5 surveys a month. You will get a survey invitation sent to your email telling you there is a survey to take. Also you don't know how much you will earn until you finish the survey. The amount you can earn for surveys is $1 to $5 for a survey.
Some survey site makes you have a certain amount of money before you can ask for a check. This is the same way for Your 2 Cents. You have to have $5 before you can ask for a check.
I would recommend this site if you are new to taking surveys and only want to take a few every month.

   Are you a runner that likes stability, or are you a runner that likes cushioning? If you are a runner, who likes cushioning then the ASICS Gel Landreth 3, is the right shoe for you.

   This shoe is great for short runs and also long runs. It is a very light weight shoe at 10.9 ounces. The appearance of the shoe is appealing. Also the shoe breathes very well.

   One problem I had with the Asics Gel Landreth 3 was in the winter, when it is very cold with winds, my toes became very cold because the toe box is made of very light mesh.

The Asics Gel Landreth 3 is not a running shoe for a runner that needs stability. Since it does not have any stability you have a better chance of rolling your ankle. I have not had a problem with this shoe and rolling my ankle.

Overall if someone asked me if I would recommend the Asics Gel Landreth 3, I would definitely say yes.

The Addias Samba is a shoe that can be used for casual or indoor soccer. This is not a shoe for someone who likes a lot of cushioning. It is not comfortable for walking. It doesn't weigh a lot and is a shoe that doesn't get dirty easily.

Fast Feet + Sweet Shoes = Great Times - This pair of track spikes screams for speed. This is a great spike for a pure sprinter 100-400 meters. It has a great spike plate which gets you on your toes. At 4.5 ounces it blows the competition away. This spike might be light, but feels great to run in. I only use these spikes for 110 and 300 hurdle races and love them. The spikes have 3 fixed spikes on each shoe and 3 removable spikes for a total of 6 spikes on each shoe. I was worried before I purchased these spikes that in the middle of my 300 meter race my calf would burn because you spend so much time on your toes. To this day I have had no problem with my calves in any of my races. These spikes are expensive, but worth the cost....
