We bought this carseat with my first child. We knew that we were going to have another baby within a few years, so we bought it thinking that the second child would use it after growing out of the infant carseat, and we would get a booster for our older daughter. It has worked out beautifully for us. Our daughter got two and a half years of use from it, then moved into a booster. It is great for smaller babies because you can tilt it back so their heads don't flop forward.

I am not crazy about the amount of side impact protection. I would still recommend the seat, though.

I LOVE these diapers. I have both the AIO and the pockets, and have found both to be fantastic products. I bought 5 BG 2.0 pockets when I first started cloth diapering, and I also purchased 5 BG 1.0 (nylon) pockets off of craigslist. The 2.0s are so much easier to care for! So far I haven't had any problems with leaking. I have been washing them with baking soda & vinegar when I begin to notice an odor, and it seems to help. I have never had a blowout with these diapers, which is more than I can say for any disposable! I think they're super easy to use, and a great transition into cloth diapering if you're new to it, just a great diaper if you're not new!...

I had the Fisher Price Sound & Lights monitor with my first child, and I was a nervous wreck. I loved the monitor itself, but I was so frightened by the thought of SIDS that sound alone was not enough. I decided that with my second child, I would pay the money for the Angelcare monitor. I considered it an investment in my peace of mind. I bought the monitor for baby # 2, and found incredible peace in knowing that the alarm would go off if he stopped breathing. The monitor did go off once, and although I feel that it was probably a fluke, that incident gave me renewed faith in my decision to shell out the extra money!

I have noticed that the monitor has a significant amount of interference, which is probably exacerbated by the fact that we still have our Sound & Lights monitor around for our toddler. However, I think this is a great investment for parents that are worriers or are nervous. If you're not, though, there are probably better monitors out there for you.
