http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/ereed Wed, 10 Sep 2008 18:45:00 GMT Reviews by ereed http://www.viewpoints.com/Progressive-review-29533 Progressive is decent company unless you have to make a claim.  I filed a claim for someone hitting my bumper during rush hour traffic.  After a month and a half of dealing with the adjuster they said that they will not repair the vehicle unless I pay the deductible.  I told him that I should not have to pay a deductable since I was the one that was hit and that this should be a much quicker process because the other driver has progressive as well.  He did not agree.  The damage to the vehicles was mostly cosmetic and would cost about 900 dollars per vehicle.  The adjuster wanted both drivers to pay a deductible to get the vehicles fixed.  Since it was only cosmetic, I opted to cancel my policy with Progressive.  I need an insurace company that will give me the confidence that I am protected if someone hits me.  Progressive cannot.  I will not use this company again.  They may be inexpensive, but you will get what you pay for....
