      <description>&lt;p&gt;I bought the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer in August of 2007.&#160; I wasn't sure I'd like front loaders (worried about leaking out the door, etc). I'm so glad I went with them though.&#160; I searched my reviews/ratings/repair issues on all the front loaders available at the time and this pair had some of the best reviews and was the most affordable.&#160; They didn't let me down!!! I took the advice of the salesperson, washed all the clothes in the house one time each WITHOUT adding any soap, he wasn't kidding when he said I'd be amazed how much left over residue was in my clothes....they&#160;soaped&#160;up and washed and came out cleaner then I've ever had (and the Whites setting....LOVE IT!! gets all those dirty socks CLEAN!!).&#160; The washer also spins the clothes to nearly dry!!! It cuts down on the dryer time by at least half (from the regular top loaders).&#160; Our water bill and our electricity bill has never been lower (and there are 5 of us in this house, that's a lot of clothes!!).&#160;If you need a...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
