elisabetsy40 says "Comfy and practical" about Toyota Sienna - 2006

I bought my Sienna right after the birth of my first child. I had a small two door car and wanted something that would be more convenient to get kids in and out of and have room to store their gear (I couldn't even fit the travel system stroller in my old car's trunk) — We test drove several minivans and decided on the Sienna. I has a lot of room (made a trip from Florida to Chicago and Christmas with 4 adults and an infant (plus luggage, baby gear and presents) in total comfort. — Would be nice if center seats stowed in the floor, although I haven't really needed to stow them. Tha rear seat stows and that's the one I adjust the most. — I love, love, love the atuomatic sliding door. I like having the radio controls on he steering wheel. Lots of cup holder and storage cubbies. Has LATCH system for car seat installation. — One problem I di have - the lcd readout on the radio keeps going haywire. Instead of displaying the...

elisabetsy40 says "Worth the price" about Britax Marathon Car Seat

I bought the Marathon on the recommendation of a friend who had one and I have to say, it was well worth it. I was pleased that they were well-rated by Consumer Reports, as well. — I needed a new seat after my son outgrew his infant seat and labored over my acr seat decisions. One of the best selling points of the Britax, in addition to the high safety rating, was the fact that the seat can be sed until the child is 65 lbs. This allows you to use the seat longer and not have to go buy yet another seat when your child is 40lbs like most others. So instead on buying two $100 + car seats, I only have to buy one $200+ car seat (and I got it on sale - bonus!) — I is also easy to install and uninstall. So when I drop of my son at my mom's to visit for the weekend, I can easily move his car seat from my van to her car without a tremendous hassle. The LATCH belts are quick and easy and it's not too much more or a hassle to use...

elisabetsy40 says "Like water off a duck's back" about Munchkin Hot Safety Duck Tub

This tub has been great. My bathroom is very small. While for the most part I keep it intact and just store it in the bathtub, if I need extra space in the bathroom, I can deflate it and store it flat out of the way. It also makes it convenient for overnights at the grandparents or traveling. It is so easy to pack. Since it is full of air, it is soft, squishy and comfy, — You can squeeze the beak and it makes a quacking sound which my son smile likes. The tail comes up a bit at the back and I can recline my son back against it to rinse his hair and not pour soap in his eyes. Wehn he was reall littel (3 - 6 mos) I only put an inch or two of water in the tub and as he grew and was able to sit for himslef, I'd put in a little more water. Now he is over 12 mos , and I fill it almost to the top and the water comes up t o his waist. It has a sensor on the botom that will tell you if the water is too hot, but I think it is...
