ejomartin says "thought provoking" about The Giver

This book is so amazing that I have all my friends read it. I have loaned out so many copies that I've never gotten back that I have quit counting. This is written on a junior high level, but is an excellent read for all ages. The concepts with in are good for adolescents and adults alike. Many of the more complicated concepts will not be understood by many until adulthood which is one reason I love this book so much. You can read it over and over across the years and continue to get new things out of it every time....

ejomartin says "This may be the place for you, but check on your major first." about Missouri State University

Missouri State University, home of the Bears. I have enjoyed every class that I've taken here, and all of my instructors have been very helpful. The communication department rocks (that is my major), and the math department (my minor), makes sure you know your stuff. The social work department has had some major issues, and was almost closed down by the state due to this. So, be careful about choosing this school, and make sure the department for your major and minor both have a good reputation, and no bad reports. <br/>When it comes to student organizations, if you want it you will likely find it or something close enough to make you happy. For students who may have a disability, make sure you are working with the school well in advance of starting. If your disability is a major physical one such as being in a wheel chair or being blind you should have very little problems getting accomodated. If your disability is less noticable and maybe less common you need to make sure you are the one hunting......

ejomartin says "Perfect when traveling." about Evenflo Position & Lock Gate

I have hade to travel many times over the years since the first of my three kids was born 7 years ago. When traveling I never know exactly how things are going to be where we are at, and how safe things will be for my kids. I love this gate because it fits easily into both car trunks and the space behind the last seat in my mini-van, allowing me to take it everywhere. I have used this gate at friends and relatives homes, in hotels, many different places of worship. I do warn that this gate should not be used at the top of stairs, only an installable gate should be used there. For all other places I find this to be better then a second set of eyes....
