eh-muh-lee says "Great buy!" about Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller

I have used this stroller probably close to everyday for the past 1 1/2 years. Seriously. After I gave birth to my daughter in January 2007, I became an avid walker to try to shed pounds. I walked close to 2 miles everyday with her in the back section, which lays down completely and is GREAT for a newborn, and my son in the front. The advertisements say that an infant carseat can snap into the back section, but I never could figure out how to get mine in. I thought I had a compatible one, but maybe not? I love this stroller and it has stood up to some serious use! It is very durable and comfortable for the babies; however, there is a weird shoulder strap harness thing that I only use when they try to climb out. Otherwise it looks like they're in a private jet or something. Very good stroller. A++

In response to some of the "cons" listed, I want to say that any double stroller is humongous and it's hard to find a durable one that will fit in the trunk of a car. My advice......

eh-muh-lee says "This book saved my marriage" about Created to Be His Help Meet

I got married then gave birth very soon afterwards. So instead of finding my place in my marriage, I had to find my identity as a mother. Because of this, my marriage suffered because the roles of my husband and myself were getting confused. That's when this book found me and I'm thankful that it did. My husband and I read it together and it helped me understand what my role in the marriage was and it also helped my husband be supportive of any changes I needed to make. My marriage is glorious now!...

eh-muh-lee says "Sound investment" about Evenflo Snugli

I bought this for my son and have used it for my daughter as well. There are certain places that make navigating a stroller quite difficult and these are the places that this carrier came in handy for me! Not to mention that the baby tends to be quieter because he's being "held" and snuggled close to mommy! I still have it and can't wait to pass it along to one of my friends. Of course, you can't use this with newborns, which is the only con....

eh-muh-lee says "Gave my baby gas" about havent seen any good ones

This bottle has different level nipples, but the slow flow was still too fast for my son. He had to gulp it down to try to keep up, but it still got all over him and gave him gas. I finally settled on a generic Wal-Mart brand bottle and it worked! These bottles are probably good for older babies, but not for newbies......

eh-muh-lee says "Saved my son." about Enfamil Nutramigen Baby Formula

As a new mom, of course my first son would have horrible feeding problems. He wouldn't take to the breast and regular formula made him colicky. I was getting worried because he would hardly sleep because he would scream all the time. I asked my doctor for a sample of Nutramigen and it worked INSTANTLY. It was amazing. He ate like he was starving and then slept for a few hours. We kept him on it until he was about 1 1/2 years old because he had a milk protein allergy, which kept him from drinking milk. This formula is very expensive, but worth the cost. You can find good deals, like I did, on ebay or other sites like that. That was really the only way we could afford it. I highly recommend this formula for colicky babies. It worked wonders for mine!...

eh-muh-lee says "Love this carseat!" about Evenflo Triumph 5

I bought this carseat for my 2 1/2 year old son when he was a year old and he still loves it! We frequently travel 9 1/2 hours by car to visit with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles and he seems to stay pretty comfortable the whole time. One of the reasons I bought this seat was because, like Britax models, it tested well in crash tests, but was more affordable than the Britax seats. This was definately a good buy!!...
