dvblazer says "Best picture, fast internet, clear phone - what's not to like?" about Comcast - Cable Company

I have had Comcast for 5 years now, and I love them. My internet price has NEVER gone up, yet they have increased the speed every single year. I get 6Mg download, which is their standard speed! My husband is addicted to their TV service, they have more HD programming at any given time than Dish. They have HD OnDemand, both free and rental movies, plus they add more HD channels every few months. I also have their Digital Voice (phone) service, which I adore. I pay $39.95 a month, and that includes absolutely everything. Long distance calls to the entire US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and a bunch of other places I don't even remember. I get call waiting, voice mail, a total of 12 features, all included in that same price. I can even check my voicemail online if I want, from anywhere. The people who work in their cable stores are the nicest people alive, and I can go see them to pay a bill, switch out equipment (I DON'T OWN IT!!!), ask questions, whatever I want, they are always there for me....

dvblazer says "Dingos Are the BEST!" about Dingos Rawhide (minis)

My dad told me about dingo bones when I got my Pomeranian, Angus. He is now a touch over 2 years old, and weighs about 12 pounds (a little chubby). He is in the routine of getting up every day, watching my husband or I fill his food and water, and then patiently waiting for his Dingo Bone. It is his very favorite treat, and he gets quite upset if he doesn't get one EVERY day. He went to the Vet recently, who told me that his dental health was incredible, most likely due to his rawhide habit. Even though Angus has a sensitive digestive system, the Dingo Bones agree with his tummy quite well, and he never has any related problems to his consuming...

dvblazer says "The worst Customer Service on the Planet!" about Washington Mutual - Platinum Mastercard

I closed my Washington Mutual MasterCard today. It took me 43 minutes, and a total of THREE phone calls to do so, as the "Customer Service" (can you smell the sarcasm?) representatives hung up on me twice while attempting to transfer me. Had this been an isolated incident with this particular company, I would certainly be more forgiving; however, this is a replication of similar encounters I have had with them previously. — I received a notice stating that my interest rate was going up to 21.99%, despite the fact that that Prime Rate has taken an incredible drop recently. Come to find out, there was a reporting error by TransUnion, thanks to my ex-husband's information somehow obscuring mine. I couldn't fix the error in time to satisfy WaMu, so instead chose to "opt-out", close my card, and pay it off at the lower rate. Had I known it was going to be such a frustrating nightmare, I would have done it in writing. — My advice: If you are going to get a credit card,...

dvblazer says "Thought I would hate it - but loved it!" about Charlie Wilson's War

I went into this movie with some reluctance, being with my family group and not having much choice in the matter. — I found I truly enjoyed the experience; the movie was not only incredibly humorous in parts, but also well paced and entertaining. At no point did I feel bored or that the movie was lagging a bit. I was a tad underwhelmed with Julia Robert's performance, but considering her part I suppose she managed to do a sufficiently decent job. I thought Tom Hanks was wonderful, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman was completely hilarious! — All in all, I would have to give this movie 2 thumbs up. —...

dvblazer says "I would never do this again." about University of Phoenix - Online Campus

I absolutely abhorred the time I spent taking the one course I completed from University of Phoenix. It was dull, mind-numbing, horrific, draining, time-wasting; there really aren't enough words to describe what a terrible waste of everything I found it to be. I got very little out of the course, the input from the "professor" was abysmal, and keeping up with the meandering conversation threads was nigh unto impossible. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't. Oh, and it was prohibitively expensive for 5 paltry...

dvblazer says "The best selection of shoes in one place, ever!" about shoebuy.com

I work 60+ hours a week, and even if I did have time to shop for shoes, no one carries my size. I wear a women's 6.5 2E, and until now catalogs were the only resource for a foot that short yet that wide. My husband, wearing a men's 13 EEEE, experiences the same problems in finding shoes, as you can well imagine. — ShoeBuy.com has provided an answer to both our needs. I find business dress shoes that are stylish AND fit, and my husband finds athletic and work shoes/boots that fit and are durable. Unique needs, sizes at polar opposites of the fit radar, yet we find them all in one place. And, not only does ShoeBuy.com have the most incredible selection of shoes I personally have ever seen, (from major manufacturers no less) but the shipping is FREE to you, there is no sales tax, and if you need to return the shoes, the return shipping is FREE as well. They provide a postage-paid return shipping label WITH your order! — I feel like I have died and gone to Shoe...
