duhrabbit says "So bright it temporarily blinds - great protection for my wife!" about Surefire E2d Defender

Surefire makes the best specialized flashlights out there. Although they are definitely more expensive that your run-of-the-mill Maglites and other budget flashlights, Surefire more than makes up for the difference with superior quality, brightness, and usefulness. I bought my wife the E2d Defender not only as a tool for illumination when necessary, but also as a easy to use self-defense tool for her walk home from the bus at night. The Defender is bright enough to temporarily blind a potential attacker (really! not kidding), as it it brighter than a Maglite 3D light. It also possesses small teeth on the lense head that can effectively deter an attacker at close range - the teeth can easily puncture skin. Lastly, it's size is perfect for portability both in purse and in hand - only about 5 inches long, 3/4 inch diameter. Definitely check it out!...

duhrabbit says "Breathtaking serenity and beauty, minus the crowds!" about Doubtful Sound, New Zealand

Doubtful Sound is one of New Zealand's best kept secrets. Milford Sound usually receives the lion's share of attention from tourists, but in the end, detracts from its beauty because of the crowds, commercialism, and noise. Doubtful Sound is a neighboring area that is just a beautiful, and only a handful of companies provides small boat based tours there. Our overnight cruise consisted of 10 total passengers on a small boat that traveled through the fiords all the way to the ocean and back. We saw dolphins! But it's the serenity as you travel between the huge cliffs that is the real payoff. Definitely a must-do in the southern island of NZ....

duhrabbit says "wonderfully unique gaming platform, but lacks graphic edge" about Nintendo - Wii Console

The Nintendo Wii is a innovative game console unmatched by anything else out there! Despite the fact that it cannot compete w/ the XBox 360 or PS3 in terms of graphics, it is the most unique user interface out there. The platform of motion sensitive controls invites an entirely new segment of the population to play, such as my wife! While the games have been hit and miss so far in its first year of production, software companies will likely produce exceptional games in the next couple years as r&d catches up w/ testing feedback. bottom line - it's worth it!...

duhrabbit says "great party game, but not for hard core gamers" about Nintendo Wii - Carnival Games

Carnival games is a very fun, interactive wii game that uses the wii remote effectively. Although some of the games will eventually become too easy to master for adults, there are others where the challenge remains because it requires subtle consistency. While many gamers will be turned off by the lack of point accumulation or lack of storyline, casual party gamers will enjoy the accumulation of prizes and the multiplayer games. I could see how real life carnival organizers are thanking the software company, for playing it really does entice someone to want to head out to a real carnival!...

duhrabbit says "top of the line accuracy, features, and reliability" about Garmin - Nuvi 660

The garmin 660 is an excellent travel tool whether local or traveling away from home. It provides a brighter screen than previous models, as well as faster signal acquisition. The bluetooth enabled cell phone service is a must for safety and accessibility. The maps are usually very accurate, although the points of interests for restaurants are often outdated. However, it's indespensible to getting around without needing internet access to mapquest or other!...
